Promotion and relegation between leagues

Wow I am so excited about Promotion/Relegation and Tournaments!
This is amazing!

I was just wondering if at some point in the development cycle, the history upgrades I have been hoping for since OOTP 14 might get in.

For example:

Game saves playoff tree, playoff series summary screens, and playoff box scores and playoff game logs each season. That way I can easily access these things in game (the almanac can't do this and I want to just work in game)

Are there any changes to the way coaching in your organization works? For instance, I find it odd that you can demote the ML manager to a MiL team without them being able to refuse or demand to be let go entirely instead.

And is there any improvement to the coaching rating system, in that the current method essentially does not even give you the option of evaluating how good a coach is without using the editor?

**An idea I've presented in the past is an 'interview' system that uses a GM skill to 'reveal' how good a coach is in various areas by gathering references and interviewing the candidate. With something like 1 candidate per day or even 1 per every few days as the limit for using this ability, and obviously some fog of war and inaccuracy involved. I play GM only and this would really help enhance the immersion for me.

3d highlights looks like a great idea. Hope I'm not jumping on this, but will it have a "no spoiler" option, as in, you can watch the highlights with the score hidden? That would be a dream for a quasi quicksimmer like me.

No anewing needed. Just turn them on after the 1918 W.S. concludes or sooner.

I'm really looking forward to the highlight reel function. In my fictional league, I really enjoy checking the daily scores and then reading the game recaps/headlines and box scores. From what I'm understanding with this announcement, I should now be able to read the recap and then actually watch the highlights for that simulated game in my league? It will show RBI line drives, home runs, big strikeouts etc? If so, that's awesome!

My yearly pre-order is in. Been playing the same game since 2002 which says all there is to say about the quality of OOTP Best bang for the buck game I have ever bought.

This years new feature list is impressive but there isn't much there that I particularly care about. No earth shattering stuff for the way I play but that's ok. The yearly tweaks to the AI and all of the small additions to the game will make it another good year to buy. Sometimes discovering those small nuggets is just as good as any of the big new features

The new injury system interests me the most along with the "highlight reel". Happy for the historical guys and those that have been asking for relegation for quite a while.

Sorry, worded it wrong. I have it checked on already. I meant would there be a database issue between OOTP 17 and 18. Will it automatically ajust for the new database? Thanks!

Bought OOTP 17 to support Markus & Co but never got around to playing (my loss, I know). Will be buying 18 as well, and hopefully I actually find time to play this go-round! The new features look amazing, as always.

I'm not entirely sure to be honest, but I suspect you'll be able to access them somehow.
