Well, what they did was modify the 1973_Topps_blank.png to add the logo there and then remove the line that adds the layer with the trivia questions (referencing the uniform number). If you just add a line of code to add the logo it probably wouldn't look right do the colors that are on the back of the card. At least it probably wouldn't look 'authentic' for the year the card is copying.

Additionally, it appears cephasjames' latest adjustments have enhanced even further the already outstanding efforts by davwms and DreamTeam. Is that coding what's contained in full in one of the posts above?

Thanks in advance and for all of your efforts.
Here are the files in full that I've changed. The three .xml files with all of the code changes that I made. And the changed HOF card and template card. Additionally (this is, again, my personal taste) I changed the color of the front of the card from white to whatever color it now is (I eyedropped the GLL logo and that's what I came up with) because I was having a hard time seeing some of the names - I must be getting old . Adding your own league logo should be pretty easy. Using these, there is no need to use all of the other card templates (sorry, davwms, that must have been a lot of work), just the position logos and all-star logo.

When I run a historical MLB league I keep the trivia. For my fictional league, I followed DreamTeam's lead and added the league logo.

I thought the trivia was a nice touch.

If you "click" on them, you should get the option to save them. You can then save them to your saved game bb card folder (or wherever you like).

for someone new to this , can someone please explain to me what these are for? Does the game normally make baseball cards and these are vastly improved versions? How do i add these to my game - will it automatically do it for me, if so how?

Just for fun. These would be good for online league or dynasty writers to incluse in their writeups. Like an addition to what FaceGen brings to the game. They don't serve any game purpose really

Yes

There should be a readme file included to show where it should go - I think it is a folder called bb cards. Or search the mod area for some of BMW's templates - I think he included instructions in the post. It's not too hard.

I added the logo to the default background and modified the xml files for you. Just download it from HERE, then unzip and put the .png file in your images folder and the xml files in the template folder replacing the ones that are there already.

Here's an example:

Is there a way to get the card to use a 'zoomed out' player photo?

Yes, OOTP supports commands for both face angle and zoom in the xml template. You can add the command in the element line that calls the picture. Note: this only works in solo leagues or if you are the commish in online; GMs in online leagues can only used the premade 90x135 pics in the images folder.

facegen_zoom: in, normal, out, random
facegen_angle: from_left, from_right, straight, random

Example:

<ELEMENT type="image" x="-5" y="9" zorder="1" width="206" height="278" content="PICTURE" facegen_zoom="in" facegen_angle="from_left" />

could you make it randomize between normal and out, but leave out zoomed in?

No, you have to pick one and stick with it. There is no way to exclude one angle or zoom.

You could, however, change the xml template and save it in between making cards to get different looks. I've done that before.
