No not at all, I like the idea. I am referring to the fact that, you already know what modifiers will be applied to your drafted players. So theoretically you can maximize these modifiers or balance them out by drafting smartly.

Example: Fiji, could maximize their drafted players by selecting speedy guys, and making them that much faster. Or they could offset the whole "bad eye" modifier by drafting players with huge ratings in those categories already.

That's what I meant by extra strategy

Exactly Trading and drafting should be alot of fun to make up for areas where culture and genetics screwed you over

I hope you guys have alot of fun with this. I have had this idea for about 10 months now and was always afraid I would screw things up if I ever made it a reality. It still might happen but at least im giving it a try

That's what counts.

As long as you have fun with it, the owners are pretty much guaranteed to have fun, in my experience.

My 3rd favourite team to watch. I will add you to the list.
We are over half way filled up already.

Fascinating idea, Fall, and definitely good luck with the league! Wish I could join but I'm starting to bust at the seams with leagues.

Exactly. This is really just simulating a person growing up in a certain area and his skills reflecting the culture and genetics and how the game was played when he grew up.

You are on the list. Only four teams left to grab. Both of the homerun clubs are still avaliable (which is suprising).

I forgot to add. You MUST have a copy of OOTP to play.

Fallschirmjager? Will there be a history already, or will we be starting fresh?

I would love to start simming around 1920 or so. However I would have to draft and edit for 25 or so years to be able to do this. That would be really really time consuming.
If OOTP let you edit entire teams at once then it would make my task alot easier.
Only reason I want to sim is for carrer records. Is their any way to attach carrer numbers to fictional players in a new custom league?

Make your exports, make draft picks on time, answer e-mails and pm's in a timly manner and check by the forum every few days and you can join any league I start. 10 minutes a day is all I need from you.

Writing ariticles and participating in forum disssucsions would be nice but that is asking alot.

If I had the time, this would be a league I would get into. RPG and baseball mixed together. Good stuff.

You have the time
Having sporr would garner this league alot of street cred'

First time someone mentioned the RPG aspect. I was going for the mixed with RTS. Each team has it's own attributes that make it unique.
