P412 Season 12 mini-whale league
*sigh*
Does anyone have a favor due from 2002halos? A BIG favor? Does anyone know Staschipete? He did not make the league and it would be great to know why for future reference. I will post a points audit soon unless someone else just wants to do it. *sigh* Last edited by Orcin; 02-18-2019 at 09:07 AM. |

I woke up early this morning to update the friends' list before work, just to find myself in the same division with a super whale.
Very disappointing. Last edited by moalkha; 02-18-2019 at 09:15 AM. |

How did Stark Direwolves get in? Their roster totals 91 points with 8 perfects and 17 diamond. The only positive is no Perfect Pedro on their roster.

The only mistake on my list is staschipete
I wonder if the placement of random teams isn't really random and because we would look like a weaker perfect league to the program (if there is a competitive balance factor in league placement), any unfilled spots gets filled by a super whale. |

Pure speculation. Maybe Matt will answer, but I am pretty sure that it is totally random. There is no algorithm to balance the leagues competitively. The developers have openly said they will never do that.

Yes I was purely speculating about why we have been so lucky to keep getting our openings filled by humongous whales.

Tough to be ready for games when the schedule changes every hour...

I got home after 1AM and was too tired to update my friends list, so that proves something, I guess. It would be helpful, if the friends list, would highlight in bold, new teams for the week and a mention of those being dropped. Then, I would've done it, even bone tired.
staschipete struck out and should be dropped until he contacts the forum again. My guess is he didn't change to "use friends list", or if he did change that, didn't submit team. It's just bad luck not to get an average "perfect" team to replace him. My FTP bronze team took won it all and promotes to silver after 10 seasons! Chicago was not that tough a team to beat, but I made it to the finals for the first time in 5 weeks. Good start to the new season, but my enthusiasm wanes as I can't see spending any money on 20.

Sadly it seems that the extremely slow box score, etc., issues have carried over to this season.

Yes, it is tough to follow in the footsteps of my idol (Zorro) if I can't get the box score and replay to review and adjust after each game. I might as well be playing Candy Crush.

To be filed under "small sample size; can not continue," the Virginia Beach Freaks are off to a 6-0 start, outscoring opponents 43-7, and out-OPSing them .876-.528. Good times.

The NC Central is full of my teams and Dunzie's teams. Plus OPPORTUNITY's team. (not sure who that is here)

To be filed under "small sample size; can not continue," (but will for the rest of April) the Grand Mound Greenshirts are, for the 3rd year in a row, off to a dreadful start.
