Season 9 (2027) Discussion: 1/28/19-2/3/19

Since nobody started one yet. My Denver Bears all the way back to the bronze age (Bronze.248) and are still sucking. The Trenton Minutemen on the other hand is off to a 2-0 start in Silver .257.

Still kind of learning about Perfect team. Is there a way to check box scores from your iPhone?

I don't think so.

I started deferring to Markus in the creation of the threads but I am guessing that he was a little busy this morning.

I am not sure where my teams wound up. I believe one team was promoted to silver. One team was demoted to silver. One team stayed in Diamond.

Subway Rats avoided relegation and are in P411.
Corsairs start their third season in D356, perhaps they'll go 84-78 for the third straight year.
Reavers are in S284 after playing .500 ball last season in Silver.

Good luck to all

The Hoggs have started their third season in Gold 3-3. The team looks pretty similar to last season, except that Whitey Ford has been added to the rotation and Michel Baez moved to long relief (replacing Craig Swan). Plus a couple more bullpen options on the reserve roster.

Raccoons just rolled the Brawlin' Birds, 16-2, including a 10 H, 10 R first inning and a total loot of 940 PP to better their record to 4-2.

In Perfect League.

Don Valley started a beautiful 5-1 to start the season in Diamond. Stocking up on high movement pitchers in a pitchers park seems to be working beautifully.

My Hoboken Zephyrs are in Gold .321 and are off to a rough start at 2-5. I think my hitting is going to get me in trouble this season, but here's hoping the pitching can keep them afloat.

I just made it to perfect and this was the team I faced on opening day.

And I won!

Don't think I'll have much more than a .300 winning percentage this year.

Shockingly my 1st Team won the WS and have been promoted to D368. This is the first we have made it to Diamond so exciting and daunting at the same time!

Started 4-5 with zero Diamond players and only 8K PP to upgrade multiple positions of need. Worried my Pitching staff consisting of Warren Spahn (86), Larry Dierker (83), Brett Anderson (81), Andy Pettite (77) and Craig Swan (71) are going to get found out very quickly.

What do you do in Perfect League when you are stuck in the same division as a 2-time Perfect Champion whose rotation includes both Perfect Pedro and Gooden? Well, you start your season 10-2, including whipping that team's ass in a sweep. Keuchel with the 2-hitter in the 8-0 game.

Of particular coincidence, my team is the Hillsboro Hops and his is the Everett Aqua Sox, both real teams in the short-season Class A Northwest League.

I didn't realize you were the Hops... I believe we've been pitted in leagues once or twice... great start!! Keep it going!

I used Didi and Smoak a lot going through Bronze-Gold. Both are pretty solid.
