Thanks, I know from the first diamond league, and looking around how tough teams can be. I definitely like the challenge. I expect to take some lumps, hopefully give out a couple, and learn some things in the process. Either way, I'll have fun doing it.

Thanks! Well, no worries about my Clippers causing your team problems. Well, at least not yet - there's still time. Your Corsairs just swept a 3 game series from us by a total of 4 runs. We're off to a 5-10 start, but we're not losing by too much so hopefully we'll improve as the season goes on.

My Bronx bombers at silver level...play well, but in a hard division. So maybe playoff again for this team.

I pushed you into first, looking forward to some kickback . Is Doc “moonlight” Graham a shrink? My guys need some help after that series with NY Titans. |

My Clippers are now 5-14 (9 straight losses) in D369 and we have earned 1 achievement worth 50 PP so far. I'm starting to think we might be returning to gold next season.

I'm going to enjoy my stay in first though, I think it may be brief. Good luck this year |

Hang in there, sometimes it's just a bad stretch or month. Coming in April it's always tougher though. Hopefully you turn things around soon though.

This new Van Mungo card is legit. I have him ranked #11 without seeing his splits. Insane Stuff + very high Movement = Ideal Perfect League pitcher.
The price is skyrocketing, rightfully so. Was about 40K just 15 minutes ago. |

LOL, I was about to bid on it when it was around 30K and it just blew up. Look at that card. There's only 6 guys with higher Stuff and about 30 with better Movement. He's got nearly the same ratings as Perfect Doc Gooden (-1 STU, -3 MOV, -1 CON).
EDIT: And it's better than Perfect Bob Feller (-1, +6, +1) Last edited by DonkeyKongSr; 01-21-2019 at 09:58 PM. |

Yeah, as NYY #23 says, probably just a bad stretch. You'll turn it around!

I only called attention to it after I went well past my budget. Anyway, half my posts on here don't make any sense from a competitive standpoint because I'd rather discuss the game then worry about whether my competition is helped. I'm not in it only to win.

GRYPHON BLUES - PERFECT 402 - Last year's P405 Champs hoping to not have a post-WS hangover and stink this year...
GRYPHON REDS - DIAMOND 368 - Last year squeaked into the Wildcard spot, won the Wildcard game, out in the next round in D363. GRYPHON GOLDS - DIAMOND 354 - Last year not a playoff team in D380 and off to a poopy start this year again unfortunately. |

Not entirely sure what they think they can do here, but Alex Bregman was Batter of the Month in his first month, and I am delighted. If you squeezed me right now, I would squeal ecstatically, like one of those chewy toys for dogs.

I'm in D359 and I think I might recognize some team names from the forums? Either way, I'm 7-18 after April, partially because the came de-activated one of my starters for no reason, leaving me with a 4-man rotation.

Great start! I'm in the same league with a slim lead in NC Central. Looking forward to taking your team on in August!
