Adding Charlotte, Montreal expansion teams
I was the one that did a post of Charlotte, NC and Montreal, Quebec getting expansion teams and the Oakland Athletics moving to Nashville, TN. Well, after finding out the A's will stay at least 2 more years in Oakland and the owner being dedicated to staying in the Bay Area, I would like to have MLB aligned into two leagues (AL and NL) with 8 4-team divisions (4 4-team in the AL, 4 4-team in the NL).
Yet, I have changed my mind once again. I would like to move the Athletics to Louisville, KY which seems like they have a ballpark capable of expansion for MLB, plus, in 1964, then-owner Charles Finley wanted to move the team from Kansas City to Louisville to become the Kentucky Colonels, but was turned down. Imagine what it would be like if the A's finally did move to the Derby City. Jamee999 had the best alignment plans. That poster had for the National League these divisions: 1. Montreal, New York Mets, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh 2. Chicago Cubs, Colorado, Milwaukee, St. Louis 3. Atlanta, Cincinnati, Miami, Washington 4. Arizona, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego, San Francisco For the American League: 1. Boston, Detroit, New York Yankees, Toronto 2. Chicago White Sox, Cleveland, Kansas City,Minnesota 3. Baltimore, Charlotte, Tampa Bay, Kentucky (relocated A's) 4. Houston, Los Angeles Angels, Seattle, Texas However, If I put the A's back in Oakland, it would probably be either Kansas City or Minnesota with the West Coast Teams. If anyone can help, let me know.
