No problem at all the team is out business, yes I noticed because I was a season ticket holder, in fact I still have one of the their posters on my wall still. We have a new team here now the RENO ACES (PCL) affliated with the DBacks and a new $ 50 million dollar stadium.

First (regular) Season Complete
Full Count Baseball (FCB) has just finished up it's inaugural regular season. It was a pretty exciting home stretch with two very tight pennant races to claim a spot in the first ever playoff.
We witnessed two amazing comebacks. One from a team who was recently 8 games out of first place and dismantled by injuries, the other by a team who for most of the season battled to stay out of the cellar. The Chicago Southpaws made an amazing run but came up just a bit short falling 2 games to 1 against the division champ San Antonio Bulls in the final week of the season. Having been 8 games out and short 4 starters in their lineup plus their bullpen setup man, coming in second in the league's toughest division is by no means a slouch of a season. Watching the playoffs from home after finishing with the league's second best record will sting a bit though. The Phoenix Firebirds were struggling to stay afloat for much of the season and the team nearly dismantled the roster prior to the trade deadline. GM Tomas Bekker did not find anything he liked and chose to stick with the current roster that included dominate hurler Nick Hadsell. Hadsell was on pace for the Triple Crown until the final month of the season. The Firebirds somehow managed to put their name in the two horse race that was going on in the Pacific between the Los Angeles Heroes and Las Vegas Black Jacks. Vegas made some key moves at the trade deadline and seemed to be the sure pick to take home the division pennant. Phoenix would end up winning the division in a remarkable finish. So here we are set to embark on our first playoffs and crown our first ever Champion. We have started our roll call for next season and have unfortunately had one owner so far unable to return. It is quite possible that another team or two may open up as the playoffs finish and we get ready to switch gears to the offseason. If you are looking for an exciting fictional league with a solid core of experienced GMs and dedicated commish/s then please check out our site. Full Count Baseball - Homepage If you like what you see and are interested in possibly running a franchise you can register on the forums and introduce yourself in our official sign-up thread. As soon as we hear back from everyone in the league and the playoffs have been completed we will have a better idea of which teams are open. Right now is a great time to get your name on the sign-up list though as there is sure to be at least one team open and you can start getting familiar with the league heading into the offseason. The Las Vegas Black Jacks have found a new GM. Thank you for the interest.
Unfortunately we have another GM who will be unable to return for next season. The Louisville Thoroughbreds need a dedicated GM to take them over. As mentioned in an earlier post, we are headed into our inaugural playoffs and will be moving into the offseason from there. This is the perfect time to jump on board a solid fictional, talent only league. If you are interested please visit our league website, register on our forums and introduce yourself in our Official Sign-up thread. Thank you! We are still looking for that Louisville Thoroughbreds GM.
If you are interested please visit our league website, register on our forums and introduce yourself in our Official Sign-up thread. This is a great time to jump into a solid fictional league. The playoffs officially get underway today and we will be heading into our first off-season from there. The Thoroughbreds have a solid team and were in first place for much of the season before stumbling down the stretch. |

Mid way through the playoffs, if you have ever wanted to try a more challenging experience, nows your time to get in a talent only league before the offseason starts.

We currently have one opening. The original GM has had to step down creating an opportunity for you to take on a fictional franchise in a talent only league. We are in our second season, winding down the home stretch. This would be a great time for a new GM to get in, learn their roster, get a grasp on the league, and then head into the off-season to put their personal stamp on the team from the get-go! The available franchise: New Orleans Pelicans Check out our site -Full Count Baseball If you like what you see and think you are interested in running your own FCB franchise be sure to visit the official League Sign-up here. Thank you! Here is a bit of our latest news.

December, they say it's the season for giving. Here we are again to give you a chance to get in a fictional, talent only league. Give yourself an early gift in the Firebirds franchise. You would be inheriting the league's best starting pitcher in 25 year old Nick Hadsell. The cornerstone is already in place, now the team just needs active management to put them back on top. This is a team that played for the World Championship last season.
Side note - Hadsell is a bit of a storied character having been transplanted from an older league, the now defunct WHBL. The current available franchise: Phoenix Firebirds Full Count Baseball is in it's second season, winding down the home stretch. We SIM 3 times per week at 7 days per. Exports are due Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday by 5:00 PM EST. Feel free to browse our league site Full Count Baseball You can register for our league board to sign-up or just to see what's been going on around the league. Make yourself at home. League Sign-up Hope to see you around!

Season 2 in the books!
We have just completed our second season in Full Count Baseball.
While we don't have any current openings (we have a full 16 man crew returning next season!), we always welcome anyone to register on our boards and follow along. You can even put your name down on the waiting list should something happen and a team becomes available. You never know how things will pan out. Anyhow, here is our latest news article and a tribute to the newest inductee to our Hall of Champions.

Current plans are to add one team per division, bringing the total number of teams to 20, 5 teams per division. Franchise locations are subject to commish approval. Currently we are in negotiations with a handful of potential GMs. Additional applicants for the yet to be named franchises are more than welcome. New GMs will have the option to locate the franchise in a city of their choice within loose limitations set by regional division alignment. Here's the latest rumor surrounding the expanding league. |

Franchise seeking steady ownership
Full Count Baseball is winding down it's third season. We have an active ownership group and are planning to expand in the upcoming off-season. Those positions have been filled.
However, the Phoenix Firebirds, a team who competed for the inaugural league championship, has been unable to maintain steady ownership since being defeated by Philadelphia in the inaugural championship series. Available Franchise: Phoenix Firebirds Team History Top Player - SP Nick Hadsell ( html report , statslab report ) Nick Hadsell is arguably the league's top starting pitcher. He is locked down with a multi year deal so you don't have to worry about your franchise cornerstone jumping ship. The team is ready to be built around this arm. As mentioned before, this team is only about 2 seasons removed from championship caliber baseball. There have been some changes and the team has seen two GMs in two seasons but, the core and key players are still intact. Can you be the one to bring steady management and direction to Hadsell and the Firebirds? If you are interested in this opportunity to jump into a fictional, talent only league head on over to our league site, register on our forums, and make your claim to the team within our official league sign-up. We appreciate your time and interest!
