This timeline probably will not have David Clyde with the Rangers. On the OOTP 19 historical forum, Seasons in Hell begins in 1973 and he is on that roster.

The Rangers begin a five game road trip with a two game series in Chicago against the White Sox. The Rangers have won four straight and have the best record in baseball. The Rangers lead the season series 3-0.

In the bottom of the ninth, with a runner on first and one out, Ray Burris took the mound for the Rangers. Oliva tied the game with an RBI single. Burroughs threw Darwin out at home as he tried to score the winning run from second on a Mitterwald single. With runners at first and second and two out, Thompson delivered the walkoff RBI single.

In the top of the second, Nelson put the Rangers on the board with an RBI double.

In the bottom of the second, McAuliffe put the Tigers in the lead with a two-run homer.

In the top of the third, Kubiak scored from third when Harrah grounded to short. Wynn put the Rangers back in the lead with a two-out RBI triple. Nelson brought Wynn home with a single.

In the bottom of the fourth, Stanley hit a two-out RBI single. Horton tied the game with an RBI triple.

Mincher drew a walk to bring home another run. Wynn scored as Harris beat out the 5-4-3. Billings made it a one-run game with an RBI single. Pinch hitter Bill Madlock tied the game with an RBI single. With runners at first and second and one out, Chuck Seelbach took the mound for the Tigers and immediately issued a walk to load the bases with one out. Harrah went down on strikes for the second out. Burroughs then struck out to retire the side.

John Hiller took the mound for the Tigers in the top of the eighth.

Mike Paul took the mound for the Rangers in the bottom of the eighth.
