How Join history of White Stockings 1871-1874...
Hi
My historical league began in 1871 with the Chicago White Stockings but the team did not play in 1872-1873 because of the great Chicago fires of October 1871 but will return for the 1874 season I can not join the history of White Stockings of 1871 and 1874 even having the same historical ID team and historical ID franchise the history of both White Stockings remains separate someone can help me. You can do is to create minor league, and move the team there. Then you can go to the schedule editor, and clear the league's schedule (double check that you're clearing the schedule for the minor league). Repeat for 1873.
Then in 1874, move the team back to the Majors and delete the minor league. The team history will indicate that the franchise started in 1871, but no stats will have accrued in 1872 and 1873. |

Depends... do you play real 19th century? If yes this is how I do it.
When you create your simulation in 1871 you make two leagues (NA with 9 teams and AA empty) obviously you choose no playoff, no all star game and no schedule for the AA. In 1872 after you did the change in the league structure you get 11 teams in the NA and 1 team in the AA (You move Chicago there). Again no playoff, no all star and no schedule for the AA. This way Chicago will keep all its history. |
