I am not sure what you are asking. There are free programs available that convert jpg & png files to a thumbnails. I don't think there is any way on here to have a folder of thumbnails. As you probably know, you can only upload 3 files per post. If I had a website, I could post thumbnails to it. I know that if you have a website you can add photos that show as thumbnails and show the regular size photo when you click on the thumbnail. This response is probably not all that responsive!

I'm aware of the conversion possibilities, but as it is when I look at say a Fictional 2 in my folder (3D) I don't know how to see it other than search for it on the forums, with the hopes you posted it, or open it in-game in the 3D model selector. I don't think it's one specific file (jpg or otherwise) I can click on in the extraction to see the stadium, is there? It's a function of combining a lot of elements into the model, isn't it?
Maybe I'm wrong. Just looking for a way, like 2D had, of flipping through the views of the ballparks and stumbling across one thinking, Yeah! That's what I need for a Baltimore field, etc... The review process right now, other than the forum, where not all of them are posted AFAIK is a slow and tedious one. Not complaining, mind you, just asking if there's a way to congregrate the stadiums, fictional and/or historical, into a runway walk so to speak.

Fictional 18
Here is fictional 18 with a background of the Huachuca Mountains behind my house. After I did that, I decided to make a version as an homage to the Buffalo Soldiers who served here. I call in\t Buffalo Soldiers Field and it is in the Fictional folder along with Fictional 18. (The beer on the sign is Old Bisbee Beer Company. They make some good IPAs!)
I will work on Fictional 17 next. Does anyone have a request for a type of background? If so, post it here. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/m1q...Ballpark_Files |

adion, I found the answer, at least a 90% one. Using irfanView, the thumbnail function, I'm able to go to the extraction directories and view the field, enlarge the field, and view the accessory files in their directories. Still won't bring up a field with attached background, but this serves the purpose for now. Thought you'd want to know. See attached.
Also, where's your instruction guide on making backgrounds? I've come up short in my searches. It's probably me, but can you point me the link? May fool around a bit on my own, until I horribly mess something up. Thanks in advance.

In the nearly first line of your instructions, it says to open the sketchup file. Is that file a specific extension? How do I identify that file?
And if you'd prefer we move conversation OUT of this thread, I understand. We can have a mod move these kinds of inquiries into a thread of their own and preserve this one specifically for your contributions.

In the folder for the park there will be a file with the extension .skp. That is the Sketchup park, assuming that the park was made with Sketchup. Also, I think in most of the park folders there is .jpg file that is a picture of the park. However, I have not been adding a picture with my background. So all you will probably get is the park with no background. That has been an oversight on my park and I will try to remember to add a .jpg of the park with background in the future.

Yankee Updates
I updated with a background with a better perspective on the Silvam's two Yankee stadiums, old & 1952. I did the same for the 3 periods of Yankee Stadiums that I based on his 2 parks. I also changed some of the signs in the 3 periods so they were somewhere near the period for each. I could not determine what period the Old Yankee stadium was in. So I used it for the 23-46 period and the 1952 stadium for the other two periods. If/when Silvam makes some other Yankees stadium(s), I will update those.

Updated League Park
Here is an updated League Park with a more realistic (I think) background and some new signage. Keep in mind that this is for Indians fans only!!

Adion can you add a background to this park. it looks like it's floating otherwise. Something like parking garage or Wrigleyville behind it.

Most ballparks are having issues where it's just a black area where the crowd is.
