An 80-game schedule with 2 days' rest would last almost eight months. It appears 60 games would work better. Are you OK with that?

So, you can cut the "off-days" off to fill from April to Late September/October (?)

Thanks!

If you went with 3 games a week your season would be 27 weeks, slightly longer than a MLB season of 26 weeks. In your case if you went every other day your season would be about 23 weeks plus whatever break you need mid season (all-star or just a mid season break) but would not give you the 2 days rest. I am currently working on a few schedules but let me know what kind of time frame you are looking for and I would create this for you. Just let me know how you would this set up, series or single games etc.. max number of games per week.

Your request for Mid April to October would be the 23 weeks and would require the game every other day format. This would only give you 1 day rest between games.

If you wanted 2 days rest I would recommend a week 1 sched of Mon-Thu-Sun followed by a Wed-Sat for the 2nd week. This would give you 2 days between games for 4 of the games with 1 day for the other. This would require your league to be 32 weeks which would have your schedule run approx from early to mid March to mid to late October. If you went with individual games and with 5 opp and 5 games each 2 weeks you would have a game against each opp. This would make the schedule very easy to create. This setup is kind of like the old NA schedules from 1874-75. Not exact but close.

Let me know how you want this set up.
