1:00 am start?

So I am playing a historic league, 1995. Starting times on the west coast are 10:00 PM and 1:00 AM. With the time zone shift I can understand the 10:00 PM, but I am baffled as to the 1:00 AM start time. Has anyone else seen this?

If you play with the schedule as it was made before the season, whoever set it up, screwed up the times and put 10:00 PM starts for games on the west coast. Then the game shifts those 3 hours, if you are in the eastern time zone, making it 1 AM.

I did the "as played schedules" and they are set up properly with the local times as the starting time in the schedule (though I won't claim that the starting times are exactly what they actually were).

Yep, I used the schedule from before the season. Next time I'll check it first and hope I can catch and fix any errors like this. Excel "find and replace" might do it.

No one screwed it up as ootp didn't use time zones then and everything was based on the Eastern time zone. When ootp incorporated time zones, that's when I did the correct home town game times.
These pre time zone schedules have not been updated.
Easy fix is to just set your time zone to eastern when using those pre time zone years. I think it's either pre 2013 or 14, but can't remember exactly.
Maybe I'll fix them for ootp 17 if I have the time.

I don't think setting your time-zone will fix it, since the new way thinks those west coast games are at 10 PM local time....

I know that I can't seem to find a way to adjust it. Right now I am just trying to ignore it.

Oops..you're right..it won't as times depend on the time zone setting for the city in the default_world.xml and setting user time zone affects all games..not sure what I was thinking.
