According to OOTP you can use either one. I use the pod

FWIW.. I have the grey outline of Roosevelt done... Just need to paint/add the field scoreboard/stadium touches, etc. Finally got the follow-me tool to work better than it used too.

I'm not great at the design part and have to do Easter prep and my taxes, plus a day at kids sports so it'll be a bit before its done. At that point I'll have to find a host for this and the Estadio Latinoamericano I built last year.

silvam or adion: fenway green monster is gray

With the historical parks, historical fenway 1970-1987, the green monster and the rest of the OF walls are all grey...no texture, ads, or...green. Just a solid gray.
Was it supposed to be this way? The rest of the park and the environment look fine.
Please LMK if I need to d-load/install it again or if something might be missing...thank you

Having never seen it.. the images I saw suggested a light blue for the walls... Also the back-wall height seems low in hind-sight... working on the grid if I can remember how to align it, but I'm open to adjustments.

I'm new to this thread, but there doesn't seem to be a way to download all of your stadiums without upgrading to pro on the website the ballparks are on. Is there another way, or do I have to download them all one by one?

I'll get Roosevelt and Estadio Latinoamericano uploaded at some point. It's still pretty fun to do as I remember how to do it.. and I finally got a little more consistent with the follow-me tool, which was the source of frustration that saw me stop work on the Rockpile..

Working (slowly) on Hiram Bithorn... have most of the outline done... Scoreboard/lights and paint job all that's left.

I think you have to download them one at time unless you upgrade then you can do bulk downloads.

You're hooked! Create a mediafire account and a new thread so you get the credit you deserve. Great work! I am going to organize my textures that I have collected over time and will upload them. There are much better crowd textures now.

I'm not overly artistic.. so the painting takes awhile.. but should have something before next weekend depending on time availability.

I was curious how long a stadium takes to make. I was thinking of giving it a go, but have no 3D experience. I would be following silvams guide. My understanding is all I need is sketch up, is that correct?

That's correct. Get sketchup.

It all depends on how much detail you want and what the shape and size of the stadium looks like. Stadiums like three rivers and Busch took longer former than say, seals stadium or Forbes field

For me the toughest part was understanding the follow-me tool, there are tutorials that will help you understand what to select and where to click to get it to work easily.

I really enjoy building out the 3D model.. I'm not overly artistic so anything that involves me having to draw is tougher (although I'm getting better). All in, the model and light drawing work on Hiram Bithorn so far has taken about 2 hours (broken up by family interuptions, etc on Easter). It'll probably take about 3-3.5 when I get a chance to sit down and finish.

Thanks for the replies. I will probably start with a fictional stadium. Is their a plugin I need to export to an obj file or do you need to purchase sketchup? I thought I read that in one of the threads, but can't find it now. Hope to have something to share soon.

I believe you get 30 days of the pro version which allows you to export to obj. Then you need to download a plugin that will allow you to do it with the free version. I believe that it is detailed in my how to thread by Jorin Guderian who is the OOTP 3D guru
