My Fictional Historical Universe
So I just started getting back into making my own uniforms. I used to work in GIMP because I had a really bad laptop that wouldn't run Photoshop. Well, I got an upgrade, and I just stumbled upon cephasjames' amazing jersey and cap templates.
What I'm working on is a fictional historical league that basically mirrors real life baseball. All the teams are fictional, but they exist in the same cities and at the same time as their real-life counterparts. I'm happy with the results and I've gained so much from this creative community here so I figured I'd post these as I create them in case anyone finds them useful. |

The Federal Association (1871-1875)
The first league in my universe is the Federal Association, based on the National Association. The league will exist from 1871-1875.
Note: I don't plan on doing away uniforms for 19th century teams. The first team is the Boston Atlantics. They will go on to be the oldest major league team in history and become the Atlanta Rebels. Last edited by OmahaReynolds; 06-25-2019 at 08:45 PM. |

Next up, the Chicago Blues. The Blues will leave the league after 1871, but return in 1874 and go on into the modern day as the Chicago Bears. Hopefully in this universe they don't get cursed.

A legendary team from the amateur era, the New York Empire Citys played professionally from 1871-1876.

Just like New York, the Philadelphia Classics hang around from 1871-1876.

Up in New York's capital district, the Troy Hudsons played pro ball in 1871 and 1872.

One of many D.C. clubs in the Federal Association, the Washington Monuments played in 1871 and 1872 before folding.
