Cant Play

I have a problem, I have installed OOTP 16 on my Window7 machine and when i click on the desktop icon it takes me to the startup page where it stops all the time and doesnt go any futher. When 16 first came out it worked fine now nothing. All help appreciated

1) I would unlicense, uninstall and reinstall. The problem with tis idea is that it probably takes the longest. There may be other ways to fix it but this is the best I have.
Can you post a screen shot of where it stops working for you?
Do you get an error message?
Are you updated to the latest patch?

yes all the updates are in place and where it stops is when u cl;ick on the icon and the game boots up its the first screen u see ,where u can choose what type league or game u wanna play

Try right click on start icon, run as admin.

Did all that even rebooted and relicence and still the same
