Online League Help/Questions

Hi, I want to create an online league just between my friend and I, but we just think having to import/download leagues all the time would be too tedious, and against what we want to do. We want to be able to just play whenever and have changes occur while we both play.

Is there a way to do these things:

1. Have a deadline where the game AUTOMATICALLY advances the game. We want to have say a 2 day real time deadline before a week sims, and we have to set up lineups, make trades, etc. and then be done and wait for the sim.

2. Make it so we have to play it with wifi/internet involved. Again, we don't want to have to download/import our games, so perhaps using internet would meant the game is ever-changing.

If not, maybe its something for next year. I know in Madden you can join an online league and it advances by itself a week after a 3 day deadline to get your games played and make trades and sign players. That basically what we want, like playing Madden online leagues on X-Box but here for OOTP.

Gai, if you don't get an answer here, you may want to post this in the Online Leagues forum. I bet you would be speaking to a crowd more in tune with what you are trying to do, over there.

I do not think this game does what you are looking for. The commissioner manually sim the league forward. It is not an automated process run by a remote server.
At least that is what I think you are asking.
