Waivers

I just started testing the new 0.9.40 Build. Almost the entire Pittsburgh Penguins including big name players like Brooks Orpik and Kristopher Letang ended up on waivers early in my game on the 29th of September. I plucked them and found that it was sort of like cheating, so started a new game. Not sure if waivers has been worked on yet or if the other teams can pick them up, but waivers definitely need work!

It needs a trade system like OOTP. As far as I can tell, you can't shop a player and see what is offered.
