This month saw Atlantis 10 game lead shrink down to a ½ game. Stryper fended off a little run by Springfield and has an 8 game lead. Ford let Corvair back into the race in the NL East for a short while but an 8 game winning streak to end the month saw Corvair get pushed back to 8 GB. While Brandywine continues to play well, they can't seem to catch Glenbard.
Kevie Oko still leads in the AL Triple Crown. John Hammer, Gator Sebeluis & Thomas McDonough are battling for the AL Kyp Durron Award. Doug Didich will walk away with the NL Triple Crown after Corvair 1B R.P. McMurphy was injured for the rest of the season. The NL Kyp Durron Award is Screwball's to lose.

MLB
NY Yankees hold a slim 2½ game lead over Detroit in the AL East. White Sox have lead wire-to-wire. There is a 5 team race for the 4 AL Wild Cards. The NY Mets increased their lead over the Cubs. Houston Astros hold a 9½ game lead over 2nd place Brewers. Also a 5 team race for the 4 NL Wild Cards.
AL MVP is an open race as is the AL Cy Young Award. Rush Booroojian had the longest hitting streak since Pete Rose in 1978 at 39 games. Wilbur Duggleby is hitting .443 and will probably win another MVP award.

Hope Jedi hold a slim lead over Cascade Falls. The LS Wild Card race is almost decided. TIE Fighters hold a 1 game lead over Drager. Bankhead is trying to grab the final DS Wild Card spot but has a tough road in front of them.

Finished the month on an 8 game winning streak to tie our most losses in a month at 8. Mack hit .198 this month, while Packer hit .326. pearl hit 7 HR. Harold Walker went 5-0, while my setup & closer struggled a bit.
no callups will come until after Dopson County's season is over. they won the 1st round and are now playing Century City Hound Dogs, AAA for Madison Pirates. As for the Lombard Falcons they are tied for 1st place with the Cucamongo Gunnin' Geckos, AA for Marlboro. They have about 7 games left. When somebody';s season ends i will start to call players up. a small list of players i know i will call up will be:

September will be tough month with Glenbard, Corvair, Rocky Top & Paradise City. 3 teams we struggle with and a tough team. hopefully by the time we play Corvair we can clinch the NL East.

The Glenbard Cougars are the best overall team ever in the EBL. They have made the playoffs in all but 2 seasons. Founded by shipping tycoon Motti Jenson, who once served the Empire as the Moff for Endor. They have 3 HOFers in RF John Wayne, CL Bill Hilles & MGR Mike Sullivan. They have the all time hits leader with SS/MGR Nick Sullivan. The #1 & #2 all time wins leaders in Jim Kanter & Bob Bellias. This team does not know how to lose.
Glenbard is Endor's equivalent to Los Angeles. Sunny, warm with hot beach blondes walking around. it is also the movie capital of Endor and many of the Glenbard players are known as royalty on the west coast.Former RF John Wayne has made several Space Western's including Man With The Laser and The Outlaw Dosie Sales. Nick Sullivan has guest starred on 3 episodes of the Friends remake playing Monica Gellers boyfriend.
Most of the veteran Cougar players are approaching or older then 40. some believe that the end is near for the dynasty that the Cougars have made. 7 time Battle Of Endor Champions. Countless MVP, Kyp durron Awards, Rookie Of the Years,could all be coming to an end soon. Motti Jensen is a very loyal owner but he is the 3rd richest owner on Endor behind King Cindaar (LV) and Lando Calrissian (CC) and it is unlikely that he will not spend the $$ needed to keep his team atop the NL West.

Scott so far has done well in his sophomore season has pretty much equaled his rookie season stats. He has not thrown out runners as well though. Scott married Stacy on Valentine's Day 2021. Scott loves to fish and organizes fiching outings with many teammates like Tim Waters, Cal Kline, the Maclean brothers & any others who want to join in. He calls a good game for a young catcher with a young staff.
