I'm very happy. Not only were there two great finishes, but two of my Final Four teams--Texas and UCLA--survive.

What a night of hoops. Best night in a long time.

On the local front, we had a night like that on Final Four night of the PIAA (PA HS) tournament...with a couple upsets, several games go down to the wire...it's been a great week for hoops. With the Elite Eight and the PIAA Championships on TV this weekend...oh, it's Christmas time...in March!

I should probably put a disclaimer on my posts, my eyes are teh suk right now with my new glasses, but from my viewing it looked like at least 1-2 seconds ran off the clock after the whistle was blew. I could very well be wrong, but from the live feed and the one replay they did show that's what I saw. If someone can prove me wrong then that's fine.

I'd watch college hoops 100x more often if this happened.

With all being said, great night of basketball. Tomorrow should be interesting for me, as BC plays. I'm really nervous, as I'm not sure which Nova team will show up. I have a feeling they might shoot lights out and run BC out of the gym, but I also predict a huge game from Louis Hinnant.

So here's my question for everyone.

What's the least amount of time the winner of a team has led in a game? UCLA led this game for something like 6 seconds (it could be 8, I don't know...but it was less than 10). Is that some kinda record?

I'd imagine somewhere in some form of collegiate/professional basketball history a team has trailed for the entire game minus a GW shot (at the buzzer), so I would doubt it.

Damn it. I can't get over it when college kids cry. Morrison crying got me to thinking...

I'll bet he LOVES(as does probably ever kid) the college basketball atmosphere and now he'll get drafted into the ****ty NBA and make millions and probably not have as much fun ever again. It's not tough to say that he'll probably never cry in the NBA. Just another reason why I don't watch the NBA...*shivers* NBA I can't stand to think of watching it again.

He's still a junior so if he really loves it he can always come back.

Its not the finish, its the color guy crying the entire 2nd half I can't believe there was no call on that, every time a bruin got touched

He did that for both teams. Just for example, he said he didn't think Batista's last foul should have been called.

Then why do you feel bad for him? If it's really the happiest time of his life, then he should put it ahead of money.

I think so. That was after he won the Heisman Trophy and the National Championship. I'm pretty sure he would've gone #1.

Just ask each household if you can stay for 5 minutes and watch the game
