One of these days we will figure out how to beat Corvair.other then that decent end to the month of July. Juan was July Rookie of the Month. Time for the dog days of August. Just hoping we maintain or increase our lead and stay healthy.

August will be a fairly easy month with only one over .500 team and that is only Corvair for 1 game.
(i will play one game from each series and sim the rest.)

Atlantis continues to maintain their lead in the AL East. Ford has put some distance between them and Corvair. Stryper has pulled away from Springfield. Brandywine can't seem to catch Glenbard.
Kevie Oko continues to lead the AL in the Triple Crown. Doug Didich & R.P. McMurphy continue to battle for the NL Triple Crown.

Enos has had a magnificent career all with the Capitals. He has been a leader on and off the field for the Capitals for along time. Nicknamed "40" by Admiral Fox. 40 recently won his 300th game, cementing his place among the immortals in Bright Tree Village, Endor's Cooperstown. He plans of playing 2 more years after the 2021 season, after that he plans on becoming the GM of the Capitals.

Had a small 3 game losing streak vs RT & CHE. Errors were the main reason for 2 of those loses. Wish Green Day would have sung "Wake Me Up When August Ends" instead as August is boring when you are in 1st place. Doubtful that Corvair will catch us without 1B R.P. McMurphy. He was a contender for NL MVP. Now Doug Didch should walk away with it.

With the injury to John Proctor it opened up a rotation spot for Norm. He has had his ups and downs ans a young starter so far this season but Admiral Fox believes that Norm an win in this league more often then lose. Norm like his brother Paul are avid fly fishermen and love to fish with Tim Waters, Calvin Kline & Scott Spear.
