Awesome news!
Another question. Earlier you had mentioned interaction between Major leagues and Minor leagues. Does that mean that when you set up the league, you'll be able to set which leagues are Major and which are Minor? So, will we be able to have League 1 with Leagues A, B, and C as minor leagues and then League 2 with Leagues C and D as their minors?

That would certainly make it a LOT easier to keep track of all of our logo files and we wouldn't have any duplicate files if we use the same logo in more than one league!

My only request is to second the recommendation of making expansion a higher priority.
But it's not that big of a deal to me. Thanks for all your hard work. This game looks absolutely fantastic. |

Markus
Will it be possible to do trades with more than 2 teams? like 3 to 4 way trades involving more than 2 teams? will coach and scouts be able to get fire by your owner if team dont do well? same for computer teams? will some owners have more patience than others? wil owners email you telling you what there goals are? will some owners have a higher budget for you to sign players? thanks |

Markus, by the time this game comes out (assuming it is released this fall), I will have a 3-year-old and a 6-month old. Will the game come with some sort of nanny to pay attention to my kids while I spend every waking moment playing it?

Any idea whether OOTP7 will include Catobase-like features (i.e., will Catobase have to be redone by someone come OOTP7 or will the in-game features make such a task moot)?

Do you have an idea of exactly which leagues will be included in the game?
And how does the Take-Two thing effect the MLB License for OOTP?

Wow Markus, thanks for all the updates and the great communication. I love hearing that the Gm's, Mgrs, and such will have different personalities. I know it's early but do you think it will be possible to have teams trade based on their place in the standings? For example, Team A is 20 games back at the trade deadline and starts rebuliding by trading free agents to be for prospects.

With regard to inflation Markus posted there would not be any. Kq76 responded with this question..
"Could you try to put it in, as an option? So say you enable inflation and you input a rate of 3% then each new season all those typical salaries mentioned above are increased by that %t. This of course wouldn't change existing salaries, just new demands." Markus' response was "Pretty good idea actually.." So perhaps it will get in which IMO would be a good thing as a toggle for those that want it. However I don't know if can really be as simple as going with a certain pct per year like the 3% or even a variable inflation. I think some other things have to be considered. Will this or should this effect the minimum salary for the league? Will the game need to set the league minimum salary periodically based on league revenues? Perhaps every four or five seasons to compensate for the inflation? Will the AI raise ticket prices to compensate for the increased salaries due to inflation? Will we see contracts that increase in salary over their life? Instead of 15 mil for three years at 5mil per year we'll get 15 mil for three years paid out at 3mil, 5mil, 7mil. Will the AI be smart enough to bring in guys with a low salary the first year knowing that as the contract escalates the money will be there to pay it as other players retire or are let go? I do hope this gets in the game but if it does, like anything else it needs to be done right. Maybe it's not that hard to program FOF seems to do a pretty good job of it. Does FM have inflation and escalating contracts in the game? If so then maybe it's just a matter of Markus using some of the SI code to make it happen. Or maybe it really is something easy to do and I'm just making it harder than it needs to be
