A bad trade was dealing Nellie Fox to the Astros for ex-Cub bonus baby outfielder Danny Murphy. Fox groomed a kid named Joe Morgan in Houston. Murphy got converted to a pitcher in the minors and Don Buford played second base for the Sox in '64.
