And I honestly saw 8 owners posting resignation notices as replies to that thread. |

So, Fit Dog, you plan to get some new webspace and continue your league? I can imagine you can't wait to win another Series.

there's enough evidence that i think it's pretty much proven to everyone but you... no one just walks into an ID stealing accusation AND a cheating accusation... and even if you aren't a thief or a cheater, you obviously are conducting yourself in a way that is giving people the wrong impression, a lot. you should stop blaming everyone else, no matter how much we p**s you off, and look within yourself. that's where these problems are arising.
also, maybe if took the time to present your case in an intelligible way, we would (1) be able to understand your excuses or (2) give them any merit. editing your grammar and spelling would show that you are giving more thought and care to your explanations. |

unfortunately for you, .400 studios doesn't owe you any due process in the slightest. and seeing as how the webspace you were getting was free, you really have nothing to complain about.

There's a lot of exterior factors that go into this. For one, I'd *never* enter a league with a commissioner that conducts himself like this one has. When you're a commissioner, you're also the face of your league. You can't hold your owners to a higher standard if you don't hold yourself to one. Being inexperienced in running a league is one thing. Being inexperienced in how to handle people is a whole new ballpark. This guy is both, and it really shows. -John -expects to be called something by said commish for this -expects to find it mildly dull, and stunningly funny |

And basically, the space I provided to you was free because I trusted you. You attempted to taint the image of my domain, which I take very personally because I've earned respect in my own league circles as a pretty darn good league Commissioner, but most importantly, a trustworthy Commissioner and I expect nothing less from any league's that I host on my domain. |

Anyway, thanks for pointing that out, Michael, but I'm a bit confused as to how the UN ties into your league. Maybe you wash their car for them or something? |

1. "You can't prove I did anything wrong." This is most common after some really choice evidence of cheating (e.g.: repeated player history, bizarre talent bumps unrecorded in player development) is uncovered. After confronted with the evidence, this is the most common response.... it's the equivalent of the police coming to a murder scene, finding someone standing over a bullet-riddled body holding a smoking gun, and having the killer say, "You didn't see me do anything. You can't prove it." Since most of these cheaters are.... putting it mildly, something less than genius in their intellectual capacity, they seem ignorant of such phenomena as cause and effect and circumstancial evidence. To them, because we weren't in their room with them when they edited the rating and such, we'll never be able to prove it. 2. "Many of my owners haven't quit the league and want me to continue." This is usually exaggerated, especially once a league's website is taken down. After all, with no league site and no forum board on which to verify this, the cheater can impute any motivation he wants to the absent owners, and will invariably take silence to mean support for the league and its cheating commissioner. Generally, this can go unchallenged, since the owners in question are usually not real active on the boards. However, it's always rather funny when a couple of them do pop up and accuse the cheater, thus neutralizing this line of argument. 3. "Everyone should have come to me first, and I could have explained it all." Yes, I'm sure Scott Peterson and O.J. Simpson say the same sorts of things..... I'd imagine even these cheaters with their slow-moving brains have concocted some kind of story to cover themselves. However, when all the evidence is in one direction, what the ridiculous cover story is doesn't really matter. As for the Car Wash Kid specifically, he may indeed be a capable owner when left to his own devices. He certainly seems upset at the accusations, and it's entirely possible that he never actually edited talent bumps and rating changes - just resimmed until he got the results he wanted. If such is the case, he must be kicking himself now..... why should he have stopped with only 120 wins per season? He should be able to get 150, easy. Also, the defenses ring rather hollow when just a couple months ago he was caught trying to steal IDs and had a whole series of explanations about why it happened, including.... (a) I just borrowed a license from someone in my league when my computer got reinstalled, (b) I was asking for them from owners so I could get server space, (c) I gave a friend my extra license and didn't know this was wrong, and (d) I know I said that all of the owners from my league had given away the extra copies of their license, but I didn't really mean it. The last two came after Scott Vibert copied into the thread an AIM conversation where he went begging for IDs from a member on these boards. For all of his explanations to be true, we'd have to believe (a) he's the stupidest person on the face of the earth, and (b) he's had an astonishing sequence of bad luck and coincidences. While I have no trouble at all believing (a), (b) is something else entirely. Finally, I'll close with a message that the CWK will be able to understand..... here you go, kid:

Well, that was one of the more entertaining(although a bit long honestly) threads I've read in some time. I think this youngster should spend a little less time on these boards and cheating people, and a little more time in Typing and English class. How about a capital letter now and then? There's also a Spell Check for chronic offenders. I also find the use of "****" to be particularily effective when used in every other post by this young lad(apparently the soap in the mouth wasn't used enough early in life). Always remember, school is a GOOD thing, I hope you didn't quit, thinking MLB teams would be clamoring to acquire your GMing skills. There's hope for you, if you follow a few simple steps:
1. Quit Lying 2. Own up to what you've done 3. Ask for forgiveness(higher power if you want, but I was thinking more along the lines of the 400 and OOTP community) 4. Hope that someone down the line will find it in their heart to trust you again Good Luck, I wish you well.

Just thought I'd let everyone know..... this thread recently passed up two of the three huge JBlaze threads from Feb/March to become the third most viewed thread in the history of the online league forum (I'm excluding the rockze thread since most of in happened in OT).
Next up...... the "Elite Leagues" thread in second, then it's on to try to unseat JBlaze for the gold medal......

My question is... where is everyone getting the pictures? Is there a Car Wash photo web-site, dedicated to nothing but crisp clear photos of people sanitizing their automobiles?
