knuckler: I like the Seattle Superstars very much.
Excellent colors and design...stars symbol is great. "S-STARS" is fine. This one really shows up well on game screens. Thanks. Last edited by Eugene Church; 06-27-2003 at 04:34 PM. |

Okay, I just finished a couple meteors logos.
1: EDIT - doesn't look quite as good as I had hoped. Like I said above, I just have such a hard time putting images in my head on to paper. Oh well. Last edited by dbacks; 06-27-2003 at 05:20 PM. |

2:
The black parts appear black - but there shouldn't be any problems in OOTP. It's not a 'true' black, so meaning if you were to take this image in say Photoshop, and maxed out the brightness, it would actually appear a yellow-orange. But at any rate, let me know if it doesn't work - if you choose to use this particular logo. If you have suggestions/comments, they, as always, are most welcome. EDIT- Ugh. This one's ugly, too. I'll keep trying, though - eventually I'll get something decent.

knuckler and dbacks:
I know you are getting tired of me praising your logo designs...but they are really good. Look at how many views you guys (including Markmeister and Shub) are getting...over 2000. dbacks...thanks for all the time you spent on this one...Atlanta is perfect...I chose the one with the blue panhandler...color coordinated better than the first one. Miami looks very good, too...knuckler, you are too hard on yourself...this one is well done and well designed. I liked the second meteor...the orangish one that looks like a comet. I will download it and see how it shows up in the game. |

All looked great in the game.
Thanks. I'll post the next logo request soon. It is not necessary for dbacks and knuckler to do anymore today. Only do them if you want. |

You Cubbies fans should enjoy this set.
CHICAGO CUBS SUGGESTION...go to www.logoserver.com... and choose MLB-NL..select Cub 1903-present... Just add "CHICAGO" curved above and outside of the blue circle together with the famous Cubs logo. All their farm teams will be related to the Cubs. Use Cubs' Red and Blue colors if you can. There is a logo of a "bear cub face" done in blue and gold. Use it with the 3 farm teams if you want to...change the color to blue and red...or whatever fits your design. (go to www.chriscreamer.com and go to the National League...It defaults to the American League...choose baseball on the left hand side...then select Major League Baseball...followed by National League...then Chicago Cubs) pick in "alternate logos"...1968-1997 blue and gold bear cub face. FARM TEAMS: LAS VEGAS BRUINS TULSA TEDDY BEARS DES MOINES CUBBIES Please make city and nickname as large as you can. Use a mascot or team symbol if you can locate or create one. As always...do them your way...don't get bogged down with my instructions...your ideas are better than mine, anyway. Work on them when it's convenient for you. |

Markmeister:
The nickname for Tulsa is the Teddy Bears. Las Vegas is the Bruins. Good design on this one. Last edited by Eugene Church; 06-27-2003 at 11:15 PM. |

I'll see if I can fix that after I'm done with the ones I'm working no now, unless he beats me to it.

Question for dbacks, Markmeister and knuckler:
??????? Would it be a better procedure to assign each of you a different set of 4?...That way there would be no wasted time with 2 of you working on the same city...no overlapping...and you could work on the set at your own pace. Shub told me he started several logos only to find out someone else had already posted it. He said that was wasted time. I agree with him. What do you think? |

Definitely - that's a great idea! The reason I keep posting "I'm working on a XXXX logo right now," is because I don't want anyone else to be working on it too, so we're not wasting our time. And if you give us any logos that somebody is having trouble with, we could like swap logos or something like that. Just a thought, but I like the idea.

Would be great to work on the logos as a set so no there aren't any repeats.
Regading the Bruins logo - must of been asleep at the wheel. Will fix the city in just a bit.

Fixed - just over wrote the file so the evidence that I made a mistake and put the Bruins in Tulsa is now gome.

Thanks for the replies...I will assign each of you a set.
I think knuckler will probably agree as well. but will check with him. Shub gets his set by e-mail. I think he will post his logos here in this thread. |
