Proud of how the Jets fought while everybody gave them no chance. Zach Wilson through the first 3 quarters looked the best he ever has as a Jet, if he can actually keep moving through progressions quickly instead of holding the ball for 4 seconds and scrambling like a chicken with his head cut off he might be on to something.

The defensive holding on 3rd and 20 that nullified Mahomes' 3rd interception was too ticky-tacky compared to how the refs had called the game up to that point, so bad call imo, but in all the Jets games I've seen so far this year they've been benefitting from more calls than getting screwed to this point.

Okay cool, that's still just your opinion though. The part about New York teams is pretty unhinged and nonsensical in terms of football considering every team has more than enough money to spend up to the cap, the modern dynasty is a team from Kansas City, teams like Dallas, New England and Pittsburgh dominate prime time slots or the 4:00 slot that gets shown to everybody without a local team playing at that time, and the teams that do the most cap fudging with void years pushing massive cap hits into the future are the Saints and the Rams, but say whatever you want with enough confidence and some people will believe you I guess.

In that same vein, I never said you should feel sorry for the Jets. But if you're gonna imply that I shouldn't be allowed to be proud of my favorite team because of some baseless nonsense you made up you can kindly **** off back in line behind the next guy who thinks his opinion is any more important than anyone elses.

You very well know that I'm not talking just about football. Feel free to be proud of your consistantly losing team, despite that supposedly everyone wants to live in the "big markets" where they get more endorsement opportunities and can live the big life. The seahawks had far more to be proud of when they constantly are fighting an uphill battle against the big market teams and made the super bowl twice recently despite the small market dichotomy and reputation.

I wasn't as upset with the call as I was the timing of it. The ref didn't reach into his pocket until the ball was picked off.

We have a winner. I absolutely hate when they do this. They were letting them get away with minor touching all game. IMO it was a trash call on its own. Let alone throw the flag after it's picked off.

Go back to 2018. Saints at Dallas. Pivotal point in the game, midway through the 4th. A really late flag comes in against Dallas for Randy Gregory lining up in the neutral zone. Why is that flag late? That should be immediate at the snap. Not after, or just around the same time Drew Brees is fumbling the ball.
