The first game of the scheduled doubleheader got rained out, but the second one didn't, so we managed to keep pace with the New York Giants this time, fortunately. That is all. CD out.

Here is the box score of Babe Ruth's likely final game. His likely last hit was a double. He gets hurt somehow during the game, but the replay PbP doesn't say how. He retired the next day, so I have absolutely no idea what kind of injury he had, exactly, at present. His injury history says its diagnosis is pending, as well. I suppose we won't know exactly what kind of injury it was here after all, come to think of it, for a while, if at all. That is all. CD out.

Two trades now made. However, one of them will require us to pay a lot of salary for the players we've sent off, so we'll likely have dead money for quite a while on our books, unless the relevant players retire first. Lazzeri and Bottomley still have a lot of money due them on their contracts, unfortunately. So we'll have to cover their salaries, as part of the trade deal involving them. But at least we won't have them clogging up the roster spots any longer, and maybe we can get some of our younger players up in the system faster, as well. That is all for now. CD out.
