Dexter Fowler was 24 for 75 for a .320 average, but had an OBP of .500 -- he drew 26 walks -- with four home runs, 10 RBIs and 24 runs scored.

May starting pitcher of the month for Cardinals
Adam Wainwright went 3-0 in five starts with a 3.31. ERA. Hitters batted .218 against him with an OBP of .239.

Cardinals relief pitcher of the month for May
Dominic Leone once again did not blow a save, converting all six of his chances. He appeared in seven games, was not charged with an earned run. Batters hit .227 against him.
