One of my favorite players the one year he played in a Red Sox uniform...

https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/b/rick...e-50407720.jpg

On a side note, something really strange....that year his walk up music was "I'm Coming Out"....which was a very stark comparison to the rap and rock music normally used by other players.

#34 - Nick Adenhart (What might have been. If life was fair, he would have been a 32-year old veteran this season.)

Aw come on! We can't forget about one of the greatest clutch hitters of all-time!!! (Even if you don't believe in clutch, you'd have to admit he had an awful lot of big moments!)

BTW, you should use the "Insert Image"-button, he deserves to be shown here - great great guy

#34 Chet Lemon, often overlooked member of the 84 Tigers. He was a very good baseball player imo.

Spectacular baseball player. Tiger Stadium had a vast outfield, and he covered all of it with grace. Cannot believe he never won a Gold Glove. Then again, those things seemed to go to the best hitters back in the day for some reason. I can also guarantee you that he would've made more than three All-Star games had he played in this more analytically-oriented era. Him, Trammell, Whitaker, and Lance Parrish = the backbone of a team that terrorized my Blue Jays in the eighties.

Chet Lemon was very underrated. According to bbref, he has more WAR than any of the other #34's posted here.

I came this close to watching a perfect game. We arrived May 17,1998 in New York and went to Yankee Stadium the next day ... so at least I was in New York when it happened.

One of a kind, it never looked easy when he pitched, it was always more like hard work, #33 David Wells

Complete game 5-1 victory to give the Jays their first AL East title in 1985. I was 12 years old and of course I missed it because my Mother dragged me off to Church. But the important thing is I'm not bitter about it.

Here's for the guy that had his what should have been second MVP wrapped up by all star break until he got injured and his career was never the same. .346 with 18 homeruns and a 1000+ OPS! Glad I got to watch the Mauer and Morneau combo for as long as I did, but it should have been longer.

His homerun off Andrew Miller in the ALDS was maybe one of the best moments I've ever seen. Yankees need him to come through for an entire season but I'm a believer
