Major bummer for the knuckleballer.... Big injury and now on rehab assignment. Hopefully does not do any lasting damage to his ability...

Just sharing Kapranos' history with everyone, considering he hit 70 home runs in 2017 and all the accolades that came with it.

Nathan Phares traded to the Houston Astros

Phares, now 26 rated a 55/64 is traded to the Astros for a 20 year old starter rated 20/47 and a 20 year old shortstop rated 21/34. He should be their number 4 starter

Yes, but everyone that is currently involved will get first option to make another prospect first. But I certainly will if someones player retires and they aren't responding.

OOTP seems to lead a lot of potential towards power hitter (looks at 'the beast from the bronx', he doesn't have much other than power and he's 80 potential). My potential hasn't changed at all and all i've done is improve yet my overall and potential keep going down.

Yeah, strange progress for some players.

I have pondered interfering with progressing some guys. 70 home runs out of a 21 year old in the minors, he should be in the big leagues for example.

I am waiting on one persons response on a contract offer (for those that don't know, yes you get to pick where your player plays and contract offers when they get to that point). And I should update sometime today/tomorrow.

I tend to ignore overall ratings, because it can be misleading. Just focus on the ratings at the things you want to succeed at. I've had 20/20 players be all-stars plenty of times.
