Big win over the Yanks, but maybe too little too late.If New York goes just 11-10 the rest of the way, that's gonna force you to go,what, 19-3 just to tie? That's some tough sledding my friend.

It certainly is going to be a rough road ahead. We are probably going to need to win the last two games of the homestand (vs Orioles) then win almost all of the games on the next road trip, including all 3 games at the Bronx.

Good luck,I'll be rooting for you.BTW,have you seen how the native New Englander Jay Johnstone has been doing since his trade to Boston? He has absolutely ripped the cover off of the ball and although his numbers have really begun to tumble as of late,he's still leading the MLB in hitting with a .362 average(He actually had his best season in R/L in 75 batting around .330)

Yes, I did see that in your's. His numbers, naturally, are going down as the number of at bats continue to build during the lengthy season.

I have, and still with from time to time, the card set for 1975 with APBA. I am currently replaying the 1930 season in between shifts during my off time while staying at work. I "camp out" in a room in the building where I work during the weekend to save money.
