CABO Championship
Champion Teofilo Stevenson, Cuba, 20-4-0 (19) vs Ansell Baba Adams, Trinidad & Tobago, 13-4-0 (10)
Adams is CABO's 4th ranked fighter and has been waiting for a shot at the title for over a year. This could be one of the most lop-sided fights of all-time but massive pressure was put on the CABO organization by the Fighting Phoenix Organization through political lobbying. |

USBA Championship
Champion James Jeffries, USA, 17-4-0 (15) vs #25 Young Stribling, USA, 13-0-1 (8)
Stribling has been slowing making a name for himself as a very highly regarded ring tactician, showing great boxing skills. Will he be able to avoid the power punches of the defending champion, Jeffries? |

Damn, I didn't think that Rocky/Rocky bout would go that fast. Hell, of a win by Marciano. Looks like we've got another great month ahead.

See post #128. I was waiting for your pick so we can match him up and get his career started. I have even created some more Mexican fighters so that he can start his career close to home before moving to outside countries to fight. Thanks |

Yeah, I was surprised when the stallion hit the deck so fast, even though I figured that Marciano would win. I figured that Rampage's next fight might have ended like this though, because of all the bad blood.

News Update
The country of Mexico is alive and kicking...or should I say punching, as two of their native sons will be making their much anticipated professional debuts. Julio Cesar Chavez was scheduled to enter the ring in November but had an undisclosed setback and will hopefully get underway, here in December. We just received news that Erik Morales has signed with "The Villebillie Boxing Gym," and is making preparations to debut this month. Morales is another propect that has been identified as having championship-type potential and skills as he amassed an amateur record of 48-5-0 (34).

Marvin is the least-man vs. Rampage...
Marvin “The Beastman” Eastman, USA, 2-0-0 (2) vs. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, USA, 1-0-0 (1)
This is a match-up of former MMA fighters making the transition to boxing. Eastman has been pretty vocal in the press about his desire for this fight. But you better be careful for what you ask for, because Jackson, the former Light-Heavyweight UFC Champion, looks ready to shut Eastman up on the way to the top of the heavyweight rankings. Both fighter sprint to the center of the ring. Eastman lands a crushing hook to open up the 1st. Jackson counters over Eastman’s arm and lands his own hook. Not much more after the first 30 seconds. Eastman lands the first shot here in the 2nd and is warned by the referee for throwing his shoulder into the head of Jackson. Jackson is clearly not happy and responds with a combination and outpoints his opponent, 16-6. This fight has already gone longer than both fighters predicted. We will see who is in better condition. Both men land hard punches with Jackson suffering the most damage in the 3rd round. Rampage traps Eastman against the ropes and fires volleys of punches. A right cross, a couple of ripping hooks, an uppercut, Eastman is hurt and is not responding with any punches of his own. That’s all she wrote, referee Ramirez steps in and stops the fight as Eastman is hunched over in the ropes. The winner, and still undefeated, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. (TKO4) at the 2:13 mark. |

Oh So Sweet again...
Sweet as Honeyghan goes to 2-0-0 (2)!
Lloyd “The Ragamuffin Man” Honeyghan, UK, 1-0-0 (1) vs. John “Buster” Keeton, UK, 3-4-0 (2) Honeyghan’s handlers are not doing him any favors by lining up two quality opponents for his first 2 fights. Teddy Atlas and I agree though, we like a fighter who is willing to step in against good, quality opponents instead of just selecting stiffs to pad one’s record. There is nothing like real ring-experience. You just can’t simulate the hitting and the feeling of being hit in sparring and training. Okay Teddy, maybe the fine folks over at The UK Boxing Group knew what they were doing because their man outscored “Buster” Keeton, 18-0 in the 1st. “Did Keeton come to fight or get your autograph, Teddy?” “That is funny, but the way Keeton is fighting, I would make him pay for my autograph!” Well, Keeton is not much more than a punching bag with arms, legs and a head. Honeyghan takes that round, 20-0. Hey, he finally landed a punch here in the third. Who did this guy beat? I am going to step into the ring and fight whoever this guy, Keeton beat. Keeton is cut and loses this round, 18-2. Well, at least Keeton in consistent - consistently awful. 18-2 again here in the 5th. Yes…um, I mean it looks like Keeton cant get up here at the end of the 6th after being knocked down with five seconds left in the round. Honeyghan finally seals the deal with a (KO6). Man, I have never been so happy and bored at the same time. Happy to see this fiasco end and bored to death by the lack of competitive fighting from one side. As has been said before we like to keep our prospects busy here at Muckboy Promotions so we'll be looking for an opponent for a fight in January. We think Rampage is ready to move beyond the punching bag with arms level of opponent so we'll hoping to land someone that could pose a something of a challenge. Following that Rampage will be taking February off to avoid any chances of burnout.

Cane debuts with a win...
Hubert Hood, USA, 0-2-0 (0) vs. “America’s Hottest Fighter” Union Cane, USA, Pro Debut
Billy Goat Promotions is glad to be entering the boxing world with the introduction of their prized heavyweight, Union Cane. Cane was an accomplished amateur that is looking to establish himself here in the pro ranks. Hood looks good in the first round landing some effective blows. Cane answers back and we have ourselves a good looking matchup. Cane goes to work in the 2nd and lands consistently, 22-3. Round 3 looks like an even round. Cane had his man in the corner and doubled up on the hook to the body. But Hood responded with a jab, followed by a straight left and hook. An accidental head butt opens a cut over Hood’s right eye. Cane takes command of the 5th round, 27-3. I don’t know how Hood is still standing after receiving so many unanswered blows, 26-3. The cut over the right eye has re-opened and there is a lot of swelling under and around Hood’s eye. Cane is in complete control of this fight but we will have to see if he has the ability to put a hurt fighter away. It is amazing that Hood is still standing here as we enter the 7th. Cane is warned for a low blow and then sends Hood down with a thud at the 2:55 mark of the round. Hood was able to get up and survive the 7th but receives too much punishment here in the 8th as the ref steps in and stops the proceedings. Union Cane makes a successful debut (TKO8) |

Off the deck to remain undefeated!
George Stankovich, New Zealand, 2-0-0 (2) vs. Sam N’Gata, Tonga, 5-9-0 (2)
Stankovich comes out swinging and takes the 1st round, 13-6. He may be feeling a little bit of pressure to impress his new bosses at Billy Goat Promotions, who just took over his contract after buying out G.C.G. Promotions. Both fighters exchange punches as N’Gata finishes up the round with two ripping uppercuts on the inside. Another round of exchanges and N’Gata has his opponent hurt. Stankovich is cut with a severe gash outside the right eyebrow. N’Gata lands a big punch to the body and Stankovich is down at the end of the third. N’Gata wins that round 10-8, 29-3 points and cuts Stankovich. Oh, the fight could have changed within two minutes as N’Gata goes down here at the :34 second mark in the beginning of the 4th. N’Gata might really regret not finishing Stankovich off when he had the chance. And it is over…what a turn of events! Stankovich gets off the deck and ends the fight (KO4) to remain undefeated. George might have saved his career with Billy Goat, but he must do better if he plans on staying in their plans...especially with their signing and attention on the hot prospect, Union Cane.
