Yeah, I'm hoping Kendall finds his way to his proper #9 spot in the order by June.

(Not that I wouldn't mind him doing well enough to actually be an adequate leadoff hitter, but yeah, I don't expect him to.)

<--- Suzuki watch (AAA Sacramento): .368 average (7 hits in 19 AB), .855 OPS

You mean to tell me that if I want to watch the A's game tonight I'll have to put up with Hawk Harrelson? I'm a baseball fan, but that might be just too much.

Gibson swings, and a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5 to 4; I don't believe what I just saw! I don't believe what I just saw!

How great would it be if we could somehow get Kendall the hell out and let Suzuki take over and put up those numbers this year...

Oh, also Daric Barton is 6 for 18. Woohoo!

Some batter(s) on our team need to get hot. Our team slugging percentage is .341?!?! The Kendal/Stewart tandem have been particularly bad, but the team as a whole haven't been coming through.

Well the Hawk was sick last night and Jack McDowell was in his place. So, maybe we'll luck out again and he'll skip another night.

Harrelson's not sick, he's part of a thing in Boston celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1967 "Impossible Dream" Red Sox, and Black Jack will be handling the PBP for the entire Oakland series.

Ah, my bad. Well that is awesome. Now I don't have to feel like a bitch for being glad someone was sick.

Seriously, if Kendall and Stewart combine to go 2-10 again tonight I'm going to be pissed off.

Well Stewart already has one hit, so they can slack for the rest of the game.

Kendall got a hit, but then Stewart promptly GIDP so it's like subtracting a hit. As far as I'm concerned, the duo is still at just one hit.

Ellis, Kendall, and Stewart can't knock in a leadoff triple.

***SPOILER***

And then the White Sox can't do it either. I didn't think I would heart him, but I heart Alan Embree. The dude is clutch.

a) he doesn't have a gold glove yet, but should

2) that was Buck's ball

D) Ellis ran like 1858762980642 feet to get to that.

4. He just made a GG play to get Konerko out.

How did he have a .998 fielding average last season and not get one? I think he

How did he have a .998 fielding average last season and not get one? I think he broke a ML record with that too.

He should have still gotten the. It hit the palm of the glove.

That was a nice play he made.
