By the way, I just looked at his splits and my comment was off base... there's more PA's there in CF than I had initially thought. Serves me right for not confirming something before I comment on it.

Either way, I'm not sure I buy it at this point... I'll have to look more into it.

Ok, one mo post, and done.

One of the really interesting stats at BB Pro is that each player card has an EQA listed for each position. Looking at a couple hundred player cards is pretty compelling evidence that playing a position that taxes your defensive abilities has a real dampening effect on the vast majority of hitters.
