It should also be pointed out that Anquan Boldin is really, really good. He was the MVP of the game for Arizona and the main reason they were able to grab the early lead.

Always sounds so weird in the sports world when a guy calls another guy a stud. Its like the overdone butt pats. I'm not homophobic...but who started this stuff and why?!?

I mean, Urlacher is a great player and everything...but I'm not checking out his package or impressed with his masculine prowess traits.

Seattle's problem was the same thing that was wrong with the first half against the Rams - without Alexander they completely abandoned the run. Though I don't think that running the ball with Morris would have changed much about the outcome of that game. Chicago was nearly perfect in all aspects of the game and you can't really expect to beat a team when they're playing like that. |

Of course great basketball and baseball teams have bad games and lose. But that's not what we're even discussing. |

No doubt. Q was a monster. Wonder how the Bears would have done had Fitzgerald were playing as well.

On the last drive, the Cardinals started around their own 40. The Bears were in a prevent-ish defense on that drive (bad decision). He didn't make any amazing downfield throws. He didn't really do much of anything spectacular. He threw short to guys who were open and those receivers picked up the big yardage. And on another note: After Brian Urlacher's 4th quarter performance, there's really no doubt in my mind he's the best linebacker in football. Edge is gonna have Urlacher nightmares for weeks after that. Urlacher is also the best Bears linebacker ever. He does things that Singletary and Butkus could never, ever do. |

So, to summarize, you don't think that Leinart had a heck of a game giving the defense he was going against and that it was his 2nd career start? You also think that Urlacher, who is not as good of a run stopper as either Singletary or Butkus were, is the best LB in franchise history? Alright. |

Bears 41
49ers 0 In the first half! The last time the Bears scored 41 points in the first half was in 1948. [Flounder] Boy, this is grrrrrrrreat!!! [/Flounder] |

The 49ers are down 41-0, so they kick a FG on 4th and goal. That's tremendous.

The sad thing is, the final score is better than I expected the 49ers to do.

Well the Bears pretty much gave up the 2nd half.
