Yes quite a bit actually. It's been alot of fun following this tournament.

First a quick congrats out to GForce for picking up his first win.

While The Kidd was a game fighter and he fought a heck of a fight, I just don't see how any sane judge could have him winning or even a close score. Expect for the first which I admit that he took cleanly I either outright won or tied each round afterwards. The next three fights coming up are easily the most important I've fought in the Tournment as each fight is either in the top 8 or right at the edge of making it in. I need to win at least 2 of the next 3 to make sure I advance.

It's a nice distraction from the normal stuff .... good idea. Of course I'm enjoying more now than I was at the start

I just got finished reading through the thread. I didn't read every single fight's description, but this is a really cool idea.

Some brief thoughts:

When you get knocked out in round 1 by a guy who is 0-8-1 you should retire. Now.

Javier, there is no such thing as an honest promoter. In fact, I tend to think that the promoter who claims to be the most honest has the most to hide.

As of right now the very controversial Brandt/Somogyi bout is absolutely huge. Those two guys are neck and neck for that final spot to advance and it's very possible that the referee's hasty stoppage could cost Somogyi that final spot. That wouldn't make me very happy, I can tell you that.

Finally, I think we all need to work on our boxer mic skills. There is a severe lack of referring to oneself in third person, insulting the opponents manhood, and post-match retirement that leads to a hasty unretirement. Let's work on those interviews a little bit.

Man that lose hurts I just plain ran out of gas and Finley was able to take advange of it. Though I suppose it was abit of a moral victory to be able to take the second ranked boxer in the tourny into the 10th with a lead on all three cards but moral victories don't get me any points. I got lucky that most of the boxers ranked around me suffered losses as well but I really need to pull it together and win the next two.

I've won a few bouts now with a late KO while down on all cards. My opponents better watch out for that late fight surprising power!!

That was a bad loss for me ... I have two tough fights remaining and may it may come down to me and Gunsmoke for the last spot.

The revealing of the ratings will be interesting. My guess is that there is a spread of ratings from 1 to 9. I'm on the down-swing with tough bouts to come; I may be joining you in the stands for the next round Will.
