At last count, there are three dynasties of mine where Freemans are present, either as players or as human managers. Those dynasties are the Earth Baseball Association, with Henry Freeman present as a player in the mid-1870s, the Freeman Dynasty 001 dynasty in 1902, with Henry as a human manager, and the Good Times Baseball dynasty with him also as a human manager in 1902. GC is present in both later dynasties as an active player, and AG is present as an active player in the GTB dynasty, but not yet drafted in the Freeman Dynasty 001 dynasty.

If and when I create a related dynasty thread that covers any or all of at least those three dynasties in depth, I will try to let you know which specific dynasty a particular post relates to, if it doesn't relate to more than one of them at a particular time. Watch for the following identifying codes, at least, to potentially be used most, if not all, of the time in the future, if and when that dynasty thread is created, folks, please:

FFC/EBA for the Earth Baseball Association dynasty now including Henry as a player in it
FFC/CPBC for the Freeman Dynasty 001 dynasty now including two, and soon three, Freemans in it
FFC/GTB for the Good Times Baseball dynasty now including three Freemans in it

FFC will stand for the Freeman Family Chronicles, for your information, folks. The timelines may or may not eventually or ultimately interact with each other, et cetera, but that is yet to be determined, of course, along with anyone and/or anything from each of those timelines. If any other timelines with these Freemans happen to be covered in the aforementioned dynasty thread as well, I will use certain codes to try to let you know which timeline or timelines certain posts relate to, as best as I can. Just so you all know this here well enough, for sure.

The EBA has now been advanced to 1876, after being backed up. Certain teams from the two lowest-reputation leagues have now been reassigned between those leagues as needed and/or desired. And the two newly-renamed leagues are the North American Baseball Association, formerly the Freedom and Independence Baseball Alliance, and the United States Baseball Association, formerly the Dreamfields Baseball Syndicate.

Several of the teams in the new NABA may currently need at least one or two new logos and/or other items apiece, but I'll still see what I can find or make for them, by myself, if and whenever possible, as soon as possible. Of course, it may not be very easy for me to either find or make them, but let's just see what I can find or do here for each of them, in any case, folks.

I'll most likely post a full list soon to remind myself and/or others just which teams they are, I'm reasonably certain, just in case this computer ever somehow ends up going down or something, folks. As I do what I can for those teams, or others do, I'll edit the applicable post appropriately, for sure, if and when I can and all.

For right now, the teams now in the renamed United States Baseball Association will all remain in their present locations and with their current team names. How long they will all continue to do either or both of those things is yet to be decided, but it will be at least one season from now before they either relocate or change their current team nicknames, in any case, for sure. If not more than one, or more than ten, as the case might be for each of them.

I probably will not add any minor leagues or new independent or new foreign leagues to my Earth Baseball Association dynasty, I think, prior to 1881, at the very earliest. Not even from one or more of my fictional nations, even if other dynasties of mine have had such nations and/or leagues present before in them prior to 1901.

Actually, it seems that I may have had the Victory League start before the Union League in one or more of my various OOTP dynasties before, when things related to the NABA probably should have been the other way around, according to some long-ago-made notes related to at least several of my teams and/or at least one or two leagues that I just re-found in a drawer for one of my desks in my office. In any case, both leagues are now present for the NABA in my Earth Baseball Association dynasty for OOTP 21, for sure.

I will see what I can find or make for the needed teams in the new NABA that may need new items for them. It will probably take some time to do so for certain teams, of course, but most of the teams in the new NABA currently have enough items for them to use at present, it seems to me. For those that don't, I will list them as needed here, at least, if not elsewhere on these forums, for sure, folks. That is all for now, I think, then. CD out.

Okay, the teams that will need full sets after being assigned to the renamed league that was the Freedom and Independence Baseball Alliance, if they weren't already in the league, are as follows, for the new NABA:

Augusta Colonials
Chicago Winds
Memphis Pilots
New York Bombers
Pittsburgh Pythons
St. Louis Scouts

I will attempt to do the uniforms and caps for each of them, as best and as quickly as I possibly can, but I'll probably still need help on the logos for each of them, in any case. While I know there's probably at least one New York Bombers set out there, I might want to see a different take on things for them than what is normally done for them, if possible. Similar to the Yankees look, but not entirely like it, I think, would probably be best for them here, seeing as the Yankees already exist in the game world for the Earth Baseball Association dynasty, in truth.

I will also likely need logos for the two subleagues under the NABA, at least, too, before I get to Spring Training for that dynasty's 1876 season. Right now, we are sitting on January 1, 1876 for that dynasty, just after the 32 teams from the old FIBA and the old DBS have been assigned to either the NABA or the USBA, if they weren't in the leagues they're now in before the changing up of things there. Several teams switched overall leagues, but those now in the DBS/USBA have kept their current locations and team names for themselves. Those now in the FIBA/NABA may have changed locations and/or team names, so the above teams will need new items, it seems. Fortunately, not all the teams now in the FIBA/NABA need to have new items, for I've been able to collect items for them over the years since first coming here to these forums.

Please watch this thread for possible new uniforms and caps, at least, from me for the above teams. Once they're posted, if you'd like to try and help me out by producing appropriate logos for them, I'd greatly appreciate it, of course, for sure.

CD, here is the latest info on Arthyr Freeman.
He has played fairly well in his 2 years with the Hillsboro Blazers... they came in 2nd last season with a 84-70 mark, 3 games behind pennant-winning Red Bluff in the Tycobbian East Division... the Red Sox were 87-67... in his first season in '71, Hillsboro finished 3rd behind 1st place Tuckanarra (97-57) and 2nd place South Fork (94-60)... the Blazers were 85-69 and 12 GB.
He was the first-string shortstop both seasons... Arthyr bats in the 8th spot in the lineup.
Fair hitter with good power... good speed.
Fair fielder with good range: .966 FA with 471 assists in 149 games.

Well, let's see what happens with both Freemans. GC may still be young enough to hook on with someone, even though you accidentally put both Freemans into your league older than I'd proposed each of them to be when you put them in, no doubt. Thank you for the update on the Freemans, in any case. Please keep me posted on each of them, even if you have to somehow get GC on any of the teams in your IPA by using Commissioner mode, of course. You do realize, I hope, that you can edit the length of time he's still out of action and all, if he's still injured and all, or assign him to any IPA team you wish, EC.

Am beginning to work on the above teams for the new NABA in my Earth Baseball Association dynasty, starting with Augusta. It will probably take at least a little time to get the necessary teams done well enough, I think. And at least a few seasons for them to find a suitable enough look or suitable enough looks for each of them, especially seeing as that dynasty is still not yet to 1901.

I don't believe the Henry Freeman in the EBA dynasty's timeline will be directly connected to the Henry Freeman in the other two dynasties' timelines, but we'll have to see, of course. Same thing for any potential children or actual children of his in the relevant timeline or timelines, for sure.

Thank you for your kind comment in one of your own main threads. It is very much appreciated, just so you know. And seeing as you mentioned music in at least one of your threads earlier, I have a suggestion or two for you, if I may. Check out a young man named Christopher Duffley on YouTube, and watch him sing. You will certainly be blessed by the gift that God has bestowed on him, especially once you know more about him well enough. I was, to say the least, very astounded by the quality of his singing and how much he obviously enjoyed singing praises to our God. Especially when he was singing, for instance, "Open the Eyes of My Heart," at that.

I see you're the first person to log 31,000 posts here, too. For your information, EC, of all the threads on these forums, it seems that the Retro thread is the thread with the second-most views on the entire message board, as far as I can currently tell well enough here. Gambo's pictures thread in the Rosters section has more than 10,000,000 views and counting at present, it seems. But then again, it has more than 1700, and probably closer to 1800 pages for it, if I'm not too mistaken here, so that would certainly explain why that is the case here now. CD out.

Sorry, Gordon Freeman only played half a season... then was released by Hillsboro... no one signed him as a free agent... looks like that is all he will play in the IPA.

You already have Gordon's stats for his half season.

Gordon was 2-4 record-wise with a 4.28 ERA in 13 starts... 76 IP...77 H... 8 HRA ...37 BB ... 41 SO

If I remember correctly he was injured at midseason and never returned to the active roster... then was released... that was in 2071.

Interesting, don't you think? I think it's certainly that, at the very least. What do you think? A lot of good work in both threads, no doubt, but I haven't yet gone through the former thread at all, or at least not much, if at all, for sure. CD out.

CD, I only look at 3 OOTP Forums on a regular basis... mainly Dynasty, Current Version Discussions and Mods Graphics Forums.... never been to the Rosters Forum... agree that is a huge number.

A Bluegrass version by the country group Desert Rio and a Contemporary Christian version by Maranatha.

It is a great song with great lyrics and a wonderful melody.... I'll see if I can find Christopher Duffley's version.

Don't know if I ever told you, but for the last 6 years I have been going to Nursing Homes and playing music for the residents... I have a Peavey Sound System and 7500 songs on my laptop.

I always begin with Gospel songs for the first 15 minutes... then play all the secular hits of the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s... most of the residents are 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and occasionally 100 years old.
I just pick the songs they heard when they were growing as teenagers.

I play about and hour and a half to two hours.

It is a great experience, seeing how the residents respond to the great old songs... they are in wheelchairs for the most part... I take their hands and we dance to the rhythm of the music... it is one of the best things I have ever done in my life... it is a great blessing from God... I'm glad he laid it on my heart to do it 6 years ago.

I saw that one, I believe, already. He's been blind since birth because of his prematurity, and also he was born with drugs in his system, but his aunt adopted him and took him in and raised him, no doubt, to be a fine young Christian man, even so. Our God is so amazing, how He can work even with someone like Christopher. I can't wait, Lord willing, to see my once-mute brother sing the praises of God in eternity. He undoubtedly is no longer mute, and the Bible does say that the mute will speak, among many other things it does say, for sure.

It would really be amazing to hear my brother who is Home praising God in person, but that will have to wait to happen until I make it Home myself, Lord willing, you know, at the very earliest, I think. While I miss my brother terribly, of course, every day, I am greatly comforted in the knowledge that nothing and nobody in this world can ever harm him again, or cause him pain and suffering in this world any longer. He is free of all those kinds of things and all those kinds of people who would not have other people's interests besides their own in their hearts and minds, for sure.

Actually, Christopher is now 20 years old, not ten, EC. That video you linked to is from 2011, it seems. What an amazing young man God has made him to be, and what a witness for the mercy of God Christopher is. And I can't help but love and thank and praise and worship God more whenever I definitely know someone like that truly loves God and praises Him and His ways and all like Christopher has done already in his life, I'm quite sure.

God is surely using him to draw more people to Himself, and he's not the only person God is using to do that in this world for sure. While much of the world may not really value people like him or my brother or my niece, for instance, God sure looks out for them, without any possible doubt in my mind at all. I think such people are easily the closest of all those on this planet to God, among humans, more often than not, because they are so innocently minded and so pure in heart compared to many of us who think ourselves wise when we really may not be in this life and this world.

CD, I placed Gordon Freeman back on the Hillsboro Blazers, but he was placed on the Reserve Roster.

I then traded him to the one of the worst teams in the IPA, the Bay St. Clair Buccaneers... the Bucs put him on the active roster as a starting pitcher.

We'll see how he fares in Bay St. Claire.

By the way, am currently working on some items for the Chicago Winds, after doing some items for the Augusta Colonials. If you think you can come up with at least one good logo for the Colonials to perhaps use in the future, then please feel free to try and do so. The font on the home uniform is Leander, and the away uniform font is Parchment MF, it seems. I believe I used the same fonts on each of the matching caps for them, as well. CD out.
