Well, I don't plan to start the minors until at least the 1920's, so there is plenty of time to tinker with those teams, for sure. As far as their respective parent clubs, they're all about to start only the second regular seasons of existence in Prokiru's Good Times League, for their respective team histories, after all. So it may be quite likely that their classic looks will take at least a little while to be finalized.
Remember, for instance, our beloved St. Louis Cardinals in reality. They didn't start out with the Birds on the Bat look, you know. They came long after 1901, for sure. I expect no different for most, if not all, current or future teams in the GTL's eventual overall framework, supposing that enough history for it can ever be generated and all for it. As far as the team I expect to perhaps be Motley's biggest rival in the Novel House, I'm thinking that maybe Atlanta or Boise might be. But only time will tell, of course, how the GTL will develop, if and whenever possible. It is certainly going to take me a while, I think, to build Motley up into a real perennial contender here, around a good core of young players and all, EC. CD out.

I don't expect the Misfits to be serious long-term contenders until at least 1904 or 1905. We are now at April 1, 1902, and have most of our organization filled with players under 25 years of age, including both Freemans, at the present time, if memory serves me correctly here. We seem to be weak in the infield positions, and trying to train players at multiple positions hasn't necessarily been easy to do, as of yet. We still won't likely have a key player back until about midseason, at the earliest, after he went out for a good portion of 1901.
When he went out, that forced me to try to improvise, and all, and things didn't necessarily go all that well. Especially during many pitching outings by our starters, led by GC, who ultimately ended up losing 30 games in 1901, unfortunately. We were last in so many major categories for our half of the GTL, in fact, which I hope doesn't repeat in 1902, obviously, EC. Hopefully, we'll be able to get much more experience for AG and GC at certain positions in 1902. I'm hoping to get Gordon Clyde another positional rating in double digits, if possible, by the end of the regular season, but that may not happen, of course. As for AG, I'm going to try to get his Catcher positional rating to at least 20 by then, and maybe get another rating to at least 25 or 30 by then, if it's not already there by now. In any case, both Freemans will play all over, ideally, but AG might not pitch yet in his career, if he hasn't already. GC may play some CF, and perhaps at least one game at C, this season, but we'll have to see what happens, of course, during it. CD out.

I didn't use green for Granby, actually. These are the colors I have used for Granby so far, EC:
f3ffc6 (243, 255, 198) Cream 5c164e (92, 22, 78) Palatine Purple ffd449 (255, 212, 73) Mustard 3d405b (61, 64, 91) Independence Here are the codes I've used so far for Cambridge's colors: e3e9e6 (227, 233, 230) Platinum 397dcc (57, 125, 204) Bright Navy Blue acdde7 (172, 221, 231) Powder Blue 4c3b4d (76, 59, 77) English Violet The codes I used for Mozart City are as follows: f0e7d8 (240, 231, 216) Linen 011b49 (1, 27, 73) Oxford Blue [Based on W.A. Mozart's birthdate, at least for the first two numbers, and added 17 to 56 to get 73 to reflect his birth year of 1756) d7115b (215, 17, 91) Rubine Red [Mozart died on December 5, 1791, and 125 for the R value in terms of an RGB color code probably wouldn't have given a brighter red, so went 215 there instead) 120590 (12, 5, 144) Duke Blue [Didn't use 91 for the B part of the RGB code because, if I remember correctly, the blue would have been too dark to work with well here) As for Templeton Bay, I wanted to use colors more reminiscent of the water, seeing as it's a port city for Prokiru, and I envision coral often being found near there, if not in Templeton Bay itself. Or fish often colored those colors when seen in the area. Hence the current use of the following color codes for Templeton Bay: f4f1de (244, 241, 222) Eggshell 065a82 (6, 90, 130) Blue Sapphire ed9390 (237, 147, 144) Light Coral 7afdd6 (122, 253, 214) Aquamarine Talk more later, as time allows and all, I'm sure. Thank you for your earlier input, however, as always, EC. I'm fairly certain that the colors the GTL teams may currently be using could very well change in many cases, in due time, but let's see what happens with the teams on the field first, in any case. Perhaps if they don't do well in certain caps or uniforms, if not both, they might ultimately need to be updated, after all. I'm not all that much of a fan of the Marlins' current looks, to be honest, but many are. I doubt, however, that I was thinking of them and/or the Mets when I did the Motley Misfits items, or at least not very much in depth, if at all, while working on those items. Perhaps I wanted to give them a look quite a bit unlike the look that I had for Atlanta's items, and as a result, probably chose the colors I did for them in that light of things here, EC. CD out.

As far as doing white or black uniforms and/or caps, I generally do not like doing pure white (FFFFFF [255, 255, 255] and/or pure black (000000 [0, 0, 0]) ones, at least as far as using them primarily for most parts of them. Instead, I generally prefer to use off-white or off-blackish colors whenever possible for things, with or without shading being used.
Of the potential items for Motley's future prospective minor league affiliates, Dulamut may perhaps be the best of them, in my current view. Dulamut's team probably won't be created until circa 1930 or so, though, I think. Skargness is still a work in progress, but we'll have to see how Motley changes its look in the years prior to Skargness's league and team creation, for sure. Depending on how Motley changes its look for its Misfits team, that will certainly affect how their potential future affiliates might look, once they're each created in their proper times. I'll write more later, as time and all permits, then, I'm quite sure, EC. But probably not much more today, if at all, in this thread, for I've still got a lot of things to do before I retire to my bed tonight, no doubt. CD out.

Several new caps have now just been posted on page 86 of this thread that I just made for Cambridge, Granby, and Templeton Bay, just in case anyone's perhaps interested in looking at them. Of course, if anyone wants to try to provide better-quality work for the teams that I've done work for that haven't already been done by others, then they're more than welcome to try, of course. CD out.

Some prospective items for the Mozart City Sonatas so far
Here are two more uniforms and two more caps for the Mozart City Sonatas so far, after I found a musical-type font to use for them. Hopefully these items look quite good as well, for potential alternate items they could perhaps use periodically, of course. That is all. CD out.

All Good Times League teams now have uniforms and caps assigned to them. Several still need logos made for them, however. The teams that still need logos made for them are as follows, folks:
Atlanta Hustlers Boise Bossmen Cambridge Eggheads Glastonbury Town Criers Granby Orators Motley Misfits Mozart City Sonatas New Horizons Park Imaginers Putnam Valley Polyglots Templeton Bay Slapsticks Wyndham Ridge Exiles Yerba Buena Borderlanders I can use the bird image for the Harriers at least for the time being that CJ did, but still will need a harrier dog-style logo or a few such logos eventually for the Crowley Hills Harriers, for sure. The Citizens logos he made, I can use too, with or without them being recolored as necessary, I'm sure. As for the Firebrands, I can use the logos CJ came up with at least until hurricanekevin might make the needed alteration to the Ferguson Firebrand logo he made, as well, most likely. Will write more later, as time allows and all, of course. Lord willing and all, you know, folks. That's all for now, at least, I think. CD out.

Now working on town/city histories and related information summaries for all 16 places which are currently hosting Good Times League teams for them. Hope to have all those histories and information summaries written up as soon as possible, of course. Please stay tuned. CD out.

Some prospective items for the Tawakita Lab Rats so far
Here are some prospective items I've made so far for the Tawakita Lab Rats so far, a team which will be affiliated first with the Atlanta Hustlers franchise in the Good Times League once their time to be created finally arrives. Please feel free to comment on these items as you like and can, within reason, folks. That is all. CD out.

All potential future minor league affiliates for the Atlanta Hustlers now have uniforms and caps made for them that have also been posted in this thread, but they will still need at least a few logos made for them, most likely. Specifically, those teams are the Kaneva City Guinea Pigs, the Doonatel Digitals, the Tawakita Lab Rats, and the Usaringu Test Subjects.
The potential future minor league affiliates for the Motley Misfits also have had uniforms and caps made for them by now, but they still will most likely need some logos made for them as well, in due time, as will their parent club the Motley Misfits. Those teams are the Skargness Screwballs, the Dulamut Mavericks, the Tarshiel Outsiders, and the Inverness Originals. I will now start work on Cambridge's potential future affiliates, and see what I can come up with, or find, for possible use by the Menlow Scholars, the Exeter Scientists, the Spalding Experimenters, and the Worcester Inkblots in the future. At least as far as doing uniforms and caps for them, anyway, I will, as time and inspiration and all permits, of course, folks. After that, I will probably move to do other teams' affiliates as time and inspiration arise for me, no matter how long it takes, to do those things as best as I can, if I can't find enough good graphics to use instead for any or all of them, or if I'm not otherwise occupied with various things in my life. Fortunately, seeing as I don't plan to start creating the minor league levels for several more seasons, at least, we should all have plenty of time to work on them later on, Lord willing and all, I think. Talk more later, as time permits and all, I'm quite sure, folks. Thank you for your time and attention and all here, for sure, then. That is all for this post, at least, it seems to me. CD out.

Can someone help, please?
Here are two chessboards I need some help with putting text on or around or near, so that I could potentially use them as logos or as components to two uniforms, at least. I would really appreciate some help with them as follows, if possible, from any of you who may visit this thread often enough, please.
The team's colors I have in mind are as follows: 241e4e (36,30,78) Russian Violet 960200 (150,2, 0) Dark Red ce6c47 (206,108,71) Copper Red ffd046 (255,208,70) Sunglow eadaa2 (234, 218, 162) Medium Champagne The text in question I'm looking for here, and I would like it centered on the chessboard, as possible, if possible, is Kalvathi Chessers, with eight letters on each of the two central rows of the chessboard, please. For the first chessboard, I want text to be using the ffd046 color code on the dark squares, and text to be using the 960200 color code on the light squares. All letters should be centered as best as possible on each square they're on. For the second chessboard, I want text to be using the ffd046 color code on the dark squares, just like on the first chessboard. However, on the second chessboard, I want text to be using the 241e4e color code on the light squares, please. As with the first chessboard, all letters should be centered as best as possible on each square they're on. If anyone can help me out here, I'd certainly be most appreciative, for sure. Once these logos are made, I hopefully would be able to use them on the uniforms somehow. But we'd all have to see if I could keep them solely on the front of those uniforms somehow, or if I'd need help in that regard, I'm reasonably certain, in order to do so well enough. Thank you for your time and attention and all, and I hope you all have very good holiday seasons, and that those around each of you do too, Lord willing, of course. That is all for now, then, folks. CD out.

Looks like it's likely going to take me a good while yet, unfortunately, to complete even the first overall draft of LIghting Up the Darkness well enough, unfortunately. At the rate things are currently going for me with it, it looks increasingly likely at the present time to me that I won't even get done with my first draft by my birthday in about seven weeks, to be honest. I hope I'm wrong about that, but I was hoping to be working on at least my third or fourth draft by then instead. I'll talk more later, Lord willing and all, as time permits and all, of course, EC. Hope you and yours all have a great Christmas and a safe and happy 2022, if it's at all possible for you and yours then, you know. CD out.

Working on the town/city histories for the various main locations of the teams in the Good Times League now, as I write this post. I've got basic information so far for six of the cities, but still need to do ten more such histories and descriptions for such places, before I'll have written them up for all the teams currently part of the Good Times League from the Prokiruan Republic. Hopefully, I'll have them all written up soon. But we'll have to wait and see how long it takes me to finish them all here, of course.
When and if I eventually start a dynasty thread primarily related to the Freemans, there may or may not be at least two timelines that I will cover in it, with one of them being the timeline for my Good Times League dynasty, and another being the timeline for at least one of my other now-existing dynasties with the Freemans included in it or them. If not more than two, that is. If that particular thread covers events in at least two different timelines, I will try and note which timeline any specific post's events and/or results pertain to, if and whenever possible, in the post title, for clarity's sake. There very well could be many posts related to off-field events as well, much like legendsports currently does with his Barrell-related dynasty thread, for instance, in fact, just so you all know this here well enough, folks. While it is not likely that potential timelines mentioned in certain dynasty-related threads of mine will actually interact with each other or influence each other's eventual development, or the beings from those timelines will do so, or that the events in one timeline might somehow affect the development of at least one other, there may still be some crossing over periodically, just the same. I don't currently expect that we'll actually see some mixing of various events and/or people from two or more timelines in the potential related dynasty thread or threads I'm now talking about here, for instance. But please don't be surprised if there somehow is at least once or twice in the future, folks. In any case, I hope you all have a great Christmas and that you and yours all have a safe and happy 2022, Lord willing, of course, for sure. I'll write more and post more later, as time allows and all, I'm sure, if and whenever possible, as well. That's all for now, then, I think. CD out.
