I see so far my predictions regarding the current IPA Pro Cup for EC's IPA seem to be holding true. But will they hold true for the rest of the series in question? Guess we'll have to wait and see, of course. CD out.

While the series didn't go five games, as I thought it might, for the 2072 IPA Pro Cup in EC's IPA, it seems that my prediction that no team would score more than 9 runs in any game of the Pro Cup this time around proved accurate, at least. Question now is whether Turon can repeat in 2073, of course.

We'll have to see what the next season turns out like, but I think that one of the 30 teams that has not yet won a Pro Cup will win in 2073. I don't know which one in particular might have the best chance, but I think there will be a first-time winner of the Pro Cup next season. What do you think, EC?

Who, in your opinion, is most likely to be among the most serious candidates for a Pro Cup victory in 2073, whether they've ever won a Pro Cup or not? Or within the next several seasons, as you approach your IPA's 73rd season of play, with year 75 only happening in 2075, if we can get there easily enough in time, Lord willing?

Still need at least eight uniforms in total for the Wyndham Ridge Exiles, the Cambridge Eggheads, the Granby Orators, and the Templeton Bay Slapsticks, whether or not I make them myself. Along with the needed caps to go along with each of those teams, of course. As for logos, I will certainly need help from others, I think, to get good logos for them each to perhaps use in the future for any or all of the dynasties in which they might appear or are already in, folks.

Once every team has at least two suitable enough logos for themselves, then I will proceed with the 1902 Good Times League season, which is still at Opening Day, and see what happens after that. Expect a dynasty report thread, once I do, to quickly be created on these forums, if I've not already created it by then, folks.

The first several posts of that new thread, at least, should hopefully get you all up to speed on the nation and the locations where these teams will play and have already played in for the 1901 season, in very short order. It may take a page to cover all the necessary details related to the nation and/or where the GTL teams play, of course, but we'll get to the simulation/managing of the 1902 season as soon as we can after that, I expect.

Page 86 of this thread now has prospective uniforms for Wyndham Ridge's Exiles, Cambridge's Eggheads, Granby's Orators, and Templeton Bay's Slapsticks, along with new caps for the Exiles. However, teams still needing caps made for them are Cambridge, Granby, and Templeton Bay. I'll try to get to them all by tonight, but we'll have to see how the rest of the day goes with such things here, of course, folks.

As for logos, the following teams still need at least two logos apiece for use with my Good Times League, for sure (Subleague in parentheses for each team):

Whether or not they use logos on them, I still need at least three more new caps here, for sure, if not more.

Also, both subleagues need the works for them, by the time we reach the All-Star Break in the 1902 season for the GTL. That probably won't be for a while, though, so we have at least some time before I get there, I'm reasonably certain. Especially if I take it slower than many may with the running of seasons, seeing as my human GM/manager character is running the Motley Misfits in it, after all. Once I figure out the uniforms and caps bit, at least, then perhaps we can do some subleague logos for the GTL as well.

When the first level of minors for the teams in the Good Times league is created, probably around 1926 or so, give or take a little time either way, the Skargness Screwballs will be one of the teams created for it, and they will be the top affiilate of the Motley Misfits. I know the colors don't necessarily match those of their future parent club, or at least not as of yet, but when they are created, they will be affiliated with Motley for at least their first season of play, whenever that comes to be.

Here's what I have made so far for the Inverness Originals, a potential future Rookie-level affiliate of the Motley Misfits, once I create that level of minors under the Good Times League umbrella of sorts. This team probably won't begin play until sometime around 1971 or 1976 at the earliest, though, if I ever manage to get that far with the applicable dynasty or dynasties, folks. That should complete all the appropriate enough items, short of logos for them, that the future minor league affiliates for Motley's Misfits may need in the future, once they're each created in my game. At least for now, anyway, I think, folks. I don't actually know how soon each minor league level will be created in the future, for sure, for the applicable dynasty or dynasties that include the Motley Misfits in them, but the creation of those levels probably won't happen for quite some time, either in-game or not. Post 1471 of this thread now has caps for Atlanta's potential future second minor league affiliate called the Doonatel Digitals, to go along with the uniforms that were posted earlier. I don't have any logos for them as of yet, of course, but now I have caps to go along with the uniforms I'd made for them earlier, in any case.

I am going to try to do as many full uniform and cap sets for as many potential future minor league affiliates of the current Good Times League teams as I possibly can by my birthday in mid-February, but I will still likely need logos done for them all at some point, of course, folks. The above list is basically a status report on my collection and creation progress on things related to the GTL's needed graphics for it, both for my own personal reminder and for anyone else who may want to try to help me out here at any possible time in the near future, just in case the computer I'm writing this post on somehow goes bad, for any possible reason or reasons. I haven't yet posted the new uniforms, at least, that I've made for Tawakita and Usaringu so far. I probably also have to do caps for those two teams as well, to go along with those uniforms, if memory serves me correctly here. But once I do, I will likely post all the available uniforms and caps for each as soon as I can.

I'll probably tackle the future affiliates for each of the Novel House teams first, before I then move to the future affiliates for each of the Classic House teams. But the exact order that I'll do the teams in here is not yet completely known, for sure. There is still a chance I may do them in somewhat random order, by organization, more or less, folks. Actually, in at least one way, the information posted related to the thread's question or premise. But seeing as it is my departed brother's birthday today, I'm not really in a mood to argue needlessly with anyone, or debate things needlessly, et cetera, so I did as you requested, even if the information I posted could help others in the same general kind of situation in question there.

I will try to get some more items posted for other teams of mine by sometime tonight, if possible, in honor of my brother's birthday, at least. He would have been 47 today, had he still been here in this world. But I'm quite sure that he's having a great deal of fun today in Heaven with Jesus, of course, in any case. I know they're probably not as traditional-looking as you might normally prefer items to look, but do you think the items I've made so far for Motley's four potential future affiliates generally look nice enough and generally close enough to what I've done for Motley so far to seem compatible enough with them, organization-wise? CD, you did a good job on picking names for the minor league teams... they are all similar to your parent team nickname.

Several of your teams graphics are the best I have ever seen you do... you picked colors that coordinated well together... your work looks much better when you use 3 colors or less... when you add extra colors that is what makes your work look strange... no baseball team would use most of the colors you choose.

But that is OK... your league is for you and no one else.... all you have to do is please yourself... it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

You have too many teams for me to spend time on each one of them... I will comment on some of the best ones and give you advice on how to improve the poor ones... but I'm not going to critique each one of them... it would take too much time... and as you very well know, you are not going to change any of them... you like them the way they are... and that's OK... it is your league.

I don't often change teams' looks, of course, if at all, but I have still done so at least a few times around here, if memory serves me correctly here. I will likely not be able to do a lot of things others can do, obviously, and they won't likely be able to do a lot of things that I can do. But that is the nature of life for many people in this world, including me, of course, as we all know, or should know now. Simply because God gave each of us certain talents in life as He saw fit, so we would hopefully be able to fully accomplish the plan He has always had for each of our lives in His world here, or at least to accomplish it to the best of our respective abilities in this life while still alive, anyway, if possible and all. Crowley Hills and Ferguson are the best that you have ever posted in this thread... You chose colors that go together well... the contrast between the lettering and jersey are very good... and you didn't use stripes.

Mozart City, Wyndham and Cambridge are fairly well done as well, but not as good as Crowley Hills and Ferguson... the color choices are better on Crowley Hills and Ferguson.
Mozart City would look better with a bright red instead of the pinkish red you used... that might make Mozart City as good as Crowley Hills and Ferguson.

Grandy is done fairly well, but the colors just don't coordinate well in my opinion... you should just use the purple and the gold and leave the green off... white would be much better than the green.
Purple, Gold and White would look very good on Granby.

Dulamut is OK... would be better if you used only Blue and Gold... get rid of the Gray.

Tarshiel has strange color combinations... I'm not a fan of the colors you used, but at least you have pretty good contrast on the lettering and you didn't use stripes.

Templeton is just fair... don't really like your choice of colors... lettering contrast is OK... get rid of the third color (Rose maybe?) and just use shades of green... just use Dark Green, Light Green and White.

A lot of time you have poor contrast, especially when you do a striped jersey... stripes should be subtle, but you make them gaudy and overdone... it is hard to make out the name of the team because the lettering get lost in the heavy stripes and loud colors... Skargness is an example of this... way too much stripes on caps, too... not crazy about the colors you used.

Inverness has poor contrast... colors don't go together well... just use Purple and Green, remove the Pink/Rose... use Purple, Green and White... tone down the stripes so you can see the team name more clearly.

I just noticed something... you rarely use a white jersey... try it at least for the home jersey... you'll find that you will get better contrast with the lettering... you can also use subtle stripes on a white jersey and your team name will not get lost.in them.
