First bug was reported at launch. Second bug, we need more explanation on - was it a tiebreaker playoff, or was it part of the normal postseason structure?

Hey guys, I've submit a ticket (#13549) a few weeks back. Nothing going on with it. Any way to get it looked at? It's re: OOTP16 crashing on exit w/ OS X El Capitan.
My data is saved, but every time I exit it generates a crash. Thanks. |

My game crashed when I was clicking back after an expansion draft (spawned by the game) occurred... now when I try to load my save, it seems to load the files, then hands at 10% indefinitely.
How the heck do I debug this? I was on my 40th year of the league Any help would be greatly appreciated... I didn't back this league up unfortunately.

Constant freezing whenever I try to start a custom league. Seems to occur whenever I start naming the second subleague. The steam overlay pops up, sorta, and gets stuck.

I'm having difficulties again with Nvidia and their latest graphic card driver update (Driver Version: 358.50, Release Date: October 7, 2015). I'm not able to play the game at maximum resolution, and the game is only stable at the default resolution (1440 x 900), and that is in window mode. If I change the resolution settings in OOTP, the game instantly becomes slow, and sluggish, and my mouse cursor doesn't align properly if I try to enter game settings for example. My normal native resolution is 2560 x 1440, and before this update I was having no issues with the drivers(actually the last two graphic driver update has reproduced this problem). In order for the game to operate smoothly, I have to uninstall the latest graphic drivers, which is pretty frustrating. I'm thinking it is nVidia drivers at fault, but if it isn't, any ideas on how to get the game to be playable under my old settings?

Testing a 2014 historical sim, Matt Harvey is nowhere to be found. Not even on the Mets disabled list. I know he didn't play a game, but shouldn't he at least be on the DL so he can become available after simming the season?

When creating a fictional league, it changes the Opening Day date of the league to the birthdate of the GM.
I go to league settings and change it back to April 5, but it still shows in the "play" screen as 12/13. What the ?? Any Ideas what is causing this? Last edited by psd; 10-13-2015 at 06:49 AM. |

With 2014 in particular, because Matt Harvey has no stats past 2013, the game thinks he retired after the 2013 season.

Run Time Error
I have the latest patch, Windows XP, I keep getting a run-time error and it shuts the game down immediately. I am playing a "New Standard Game", this has happened three times now.

Incomplete HTML Output
When viewing the Almanacs or League Information through the HTML in the Saved Game folder, a lot of the pages are out of date (my league is 1955, many of the all-time historical pages are either missing or are for 1948), the awards go back no further than 1953.
Also the player pictures folder is empty and no team logos appear. I've tried going through the 'Online League' menu to create the league reports, but this does not change anything. The same information viewed in the League History section of the game itself is accurate and up to date. Any idea if this is a bug or user error? Thanks |

I started a League with a draft to start with. Since then the computer added 2 expansions, 2 teams each. First expansion appeared fine.
Now the 2nd expansion, the computer added both teams to the Al, creating one 7team division 1 6team and the original AL east. i moved the nex exp Team from the 7team div over to the NL, then clicked on GENERATE Schedule. That was it i assumed and didnt expect problems, thats why i didnt check the schedule... The picture shows the FINAL standings of the regular season. it is similiar in the rest of the league. The Majority of Teams played 153 games (changed apparently from 162) while others only played 150. I might live with the fact that the AI changed it from 162 to 153 (although i would have liked to be informed). But that teams played a different number of games is simply unacceptable. Unfortunately, i only looked now into the League settings, and there are 162 games listed for each team for the next season. is there a way to check what number there was for the season that just ended? I never changed the 162, so why werent 162 games played last year? |

I found a bug in the OOTP 16 game.
If you release an INT FA from your complex and by luck he becomes one of your: Prospects ONLY, Sorty by: Current Ratings; top players in your Organization Depth chart in the PLAYER DEVELOPMENT screen - you can magically bring him back by clicking on his name and demoting him to A ball. Just found this out in one of my leagues and was able to bring back to life 2 players. |

I have a corrupt league stats history. The good news is I have all the almanacs from year 1. Is there a way to fix the stats history by merging files or what not to remove the JIM UNKNOWNS from leading the career totals or other statistical categories in the league history??

In one of my leagues, the division finished up tied between two teams. A 1 game playoffs was generated but, the issue is the home team is NOT the team that had the better Head To Head record. The team on the road for this 1 game playoff went 18-6 vs. the team that was given the home game. Is there a setting somewhere that was not checked OR is this a real bug in the game?
