Time for the 1976 rookie...
Mike Eden https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...d=eden--001edw If he is in the database he didn't load with the season end update... this is what I have in my FG database for him.

FancySkunk could you do Junior Moore with that picture? I won't try it since it's B&W and I really like that picture..
In the meantime this is what I have on file...

John Verhoeven
The database FG has a small shadow, so I share what I have on file for him but it probably need some color adjustment.

Jeff Newman (newman002jef)
https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...d=newman002jef It's probably my database that isn't up to date but he didn't load a FG for him. Probably need some tweeking as usual with my work, but he isn't too bad I think... This is the picture I used to do him https://baseballhall.org/sites/defau...?itok=kFjSDV-u

Babe Ruth
During his five full seasons with the Boston Red Sox, Babe Ruth established himself as one of the premier left-handed pitchers in the game, began his historic transformation from moundsman to slugging outfielder, and was part of three World Series championship teams. After he was sold to the New York Yankees in December 1919, his eye-popping batting performances over the next few seasons helped usher in a new era of long-distance hitting and high scoring, effectively bringing down the curtain on the Deadball Era. - SABR
But I'm sure you've heard of him... He's the one player least likely to appear in luckymann's Footnote League Gosh, it's gotten even busier here since I tapped out for the holiday to spend time with the family. Nice to see everyone here and keeping the board hoppin'. Maybe I should disappear more often! Babe is one of the toughest facegens because we all know his face so well. Every expression and facial nook and cranny. Early in his life, as a Sox pitcher and early with the Yanks, his face was very round but got more oval as he aged. It was asked what Babe fg I had in my folder, so here it is for consideration. Since everyone reading this could have written that SABR intro to this facegen posting, I invite you to read something more interesting about Babe. It's an article about one of Babe's final public appearances... on Christmas: "I want to take this opportunity to wish all the children, not only in America but all over the world, a very Merry Christmas." - Babe Ruth at the end of the Hotel Astor party on Dec. 10, 1947, held for a group of kids who had been treated with a specific regimen for polio. https://www.wbur.org/onlyagame/2018/...ta-claus-polio Merry Christmas, everyone!!

In 1932, Babe Ruth signed a then-record $80,000 a year contract to play baseball. When an acerbic journalist asked Ruth if he thought he deserved to be making more money than the President, Ruth replied: "What the hell has Hoover got to do with this? Anyway, I had a better year than he did." Gotta love it.

Worked through the guys mentioned in the thread since my last post.
I think all five of these guys had facegens that were mis-named within the pack, so those are the ones I used as the "old" image in these previews. Overall I'd say these came out pretty good, though I'm not fully satisfied with Moore. What you had for Newman was good, AESP_pres. I wound up working it over from the same photo after doing some photoshop work to soften the shadows and normalize his skin tone a bit. Of course that left me in the position where I had to re-darken his beard, which makes it look a bit unnatural in spots. Barry Foote
This is more a question of preference in this case but I prefer him less clean shaven because that give him more personality ![]() Only reason why I noticed this is because the game update the picture for the 1976 season... this is weird since I thought the FG you picked was always the one used for a complete simulation. Fantastic work FancySkunk! Question: Are you planning on refreshing the zip file from pg1 of this thread? Or if you are keeping one current, can you point me to it please? Thanks again!!!

I was wondering this too! It'd be cool if they weren't zipped and instead lived on a folder on Google Drive so that we could just access whenever!

The last update was posted on August 26, 2021 (so, four months). It can be found on page 21, and it is post #1012. If you feel like circling back to it, and picking up all the facegens that have come since then, go for it. You can also pick up all the facegens in Lansdowne St.'s thread (the one I linked to above), which began on September 4th, so it was after the most recent update. Or you can wait for FancySkunk to put it all together for you in the next update. S'up to you. I don't like waiting around, particularly when LansdowneSt.'s have been so good, but you may feel otherwise.

I'd be happy to host on Google Drive if you want, I play for plenty of space myself that it wouldn't be an issue. Obviously as long as it's not the only version in case someone accidentally deletes it, but like I said it'd definitely be cool to have them dumped into a folder as they're made so people can easily grab individual ones or even the whole thing, updated at any time!
