I think the time and effort you, eriqjaffe, Isedelyod, nielsoncp, gohorns98, and adion and all the rest have greatly added to the immersion in to historic and current ballparks. I think you all have forced the developers to step up their game and add a stadium designer and 3D designers. Thank you very much.

I’m happy with the parks as they are. If some new features become available where I could incorporate improvements, I’ll definitely look at it
And I say that limit you reached is superb. Adding those historical stadiums lights up the game, since I play mostly historical saves.
Do they work good in this new 22-version or I be truly sad.
Don't sell yourself short. Alone and with limited help in programs you have lifted the joy of playing out games in history.
You and a couple of other stadium creators might very well put the pressure on OOTP to deliver something similar.
But they are 100% focused on present stadiums AND what's more important they don't do minors.
Your and some others have filled in on that point.
Thanks for that.

Thank you all. The stadiums of mine that I have tested in 22 I can safely say work fine. Of course if anyone finds an issue, please let me know. I’ll do my best to work to fix it

Is there a way to get these 3D models on a mac? I would love to use them.

Thanks for any help.

I can`t load the historic ballparks into OOTP 22. Proceding like I did in OOTP 21, when I click on the xxxx.obj file nothing happens. It seems that others were successful loading them, so I must be missing something simple.

I have a Mac and the 3D models work perfectly. They work in OOTP22 just fine. One of my leagues in currently in 1986, so I'm using all of the ballparks from that era.

Have you put them into OOTP22's models folder? That's the first thingI can think of.

What it sounds like to me is that your trying to load them from the folder they are in from 21? Move them to ballparks folder in 22 and I bet they load.

Hello All,

I wanted to let everyone know that I have gone through each of my historical parks and updated them to include the following:

- at least 11 new camera angles generously shared by drksd4848. These are great TV style cameras which I think show off the parks and make it more fun to watch the action

- I added a new night time texture to the stadium lights. When playing night games the lights will be brighter to look like they are in use

- Some parks received some new textures in places I felt needed them.

- Updated some parks scoreboards. By this I mean that some parks use other scoreboard textures from other parks. Since that is the case, the actual scoreboard text reads the home team as being a team not for that park. So, I did a little photoshopping and added the home team text to some that needed it.

- Updated KC Municipal Stadiums based on user feedback

- Updated Metropolitan Stadiums based on user feedback

- All lite versions of historic parks now use ".ZIP" format rather than ".rar"

That's about it for now. All new links should be on the first post. Please let me know if any of them are dead. I did a lot of copying and pasting today

For OOTP 22, I don't have steam workshop items yet. I am trying to find out if I can somehow migrate them from 21 first. What I will do is update the 21 workshop items. This way you can just copy the parks from your 21 ballparks/models folder to your 22 one. should work that way for now.

I will work on updating the workshop items soon. for now just use the first post to grab them if you want

Cheers!

Third picture has backwards text on the batter's uniform, for some reason. Wonder why. Just curious, that's all. CD out.

because if you put a number on the uniform template, the game displays its mirror image for Lefty's for some reason

Ok, I updated all historical parks in the OOTP21 steam workshop. You can download there if you are subscribed and copy over to 22 if you want

These stadiums are amazing!
Any chance you are thinking of doing Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan where the Expos played a handful of games for a few seasons?
Amazing work!!!

Speaking of asking for requests, could you re-do Civic Stadium home of the Eugene Emeralds and where as i kid we would hitch hike in from Creswell ( home town of Mark Few} where we could see Mike Schmidt, Denny Doyle, larry Bowa,Greg Lusinski, Larry Hisle,Oscar Gamble, Bob Boone, Billy Champion, Barry Lersch, Lowell Powell And many other phillies. I'l even say Please as I can't wait to see what you do this Time to our Burnt down stadium.
