I just seen Mike was banned for good on here. Does anyone keep up with him via e-mail or do we have to find a replacement? He seemed good for the league and was very active with this league so maybe we can find a way to keep his team going via email. Of course this is my opinion and others may disagree.

I do disagree
If someone wants to work with anyone at all via email to be this league it's not really any of our business unless the arrangement is put to a league vote or something. (which I don't advocate either)

I have no problems with Mike's continued involvement in the UTBA. SAL has been comfortable working with most of us via PMs in the past and this isn't all that different.
Heck, with the team he just put together he'll likely be kicking all of our butts when his guys go prime.

Mike has been in the league from jump and regardless of what transpired in the OT forum, it should not effect his right/ability to continue to participate in the UTBA. He is active and has always been a strong member of the league.

Since the league's inception, Scot has given each us a say in whether we want guys to be part of this group or not. And I think that is extremely cool of him. So I disagree with the disagreer
and think Scot has made it clear that league participation is up to all of us, and if someone's involvement is a significant issue for league members, then it is our business and we should discuss it.That said, I'll put my opinion right up front. I don't see how Mike's ban from the board should in any way affect his involvement with UTBA. If it were to come to a vote, which I honestly don't believe is at all necessary, I would be in strong favor of his continued involvement. |

Dola, and if we get any more moderators living in the basement, we're going to have to start a division just for them. They're multiplying like fruit flies around here.

Haven't had a chance to discuss Mike's situation with him via email yet. As far as I'm concerned as of right now, if Mike wishes to continue his team in the league through emails with me, I'm OK with it.

I just want to remind everybody that the 105 cap is still waived at this time and will continue to be waived through the waiver process. The only time I'll ask for everybody to have their team cap down to 105 or below will be on the last waiver round before season 2 starts. In the past, we've been able to accomplish this (cap reduction) in 7 days or less. Hopefully we can do it this time around as well.
Just like during the season, the cap is always waived during the 3 waiver rounds and any team making waiver claims needs to have their roster at or below 105 at the end of the third round of waivers. |

SAL
I'm getting confused. Do I have to be reduced down to 16 men by the start of the waiver period? If I have to drop down to 16 guys can I leave one weight class with a vacancy and have 3 guys in another? Since teams are limited to one waiver claim per round that having Toronto's rights to the 1st book doesn't exclude me from making one of my own then as well?
