1889 Tycobbian Union Title Series - Game 7

The South Fork Stallions have overcome a 3-1 series deficit to defeat last year's Tycobbian Union champion Turon Typhoons. South Fork has won its 5th pennant and will be looking to capture its 3rd Pro Cup title. The Stallions previously won in 1876 and 1880.

1889 Ruthlandian Union Title Series - Game 7

For a moment it looked like Glasco was going to shock the world by coming back from a 3-0 series deficit to reach the Pro Cup. The Celtics stormed out of the gates for the second straight game with a 5 run first inning. By the middle of the 2nd they had built a 7-2 lead. But the Pro Cup champion Marston Nine never believe that they are out of a game. They scored 5 runs in the 4th and 5th innings to turn the game around and lead 12-7. A David Diaz grand slam in the 7th put the game out of reach, and Marston has won its second straight RU pennant. The Nine will try to repeat as IPA champions versus South Fork.

Morses are going to get another Pro Cup win against Holmes, I think. Seven games will probably be the most likely result here, with Marston somehow winning in a close series. CD out.

No matter what happens it will be interesting. Will South Fork end its 9-year Pro Cup title drought and become the third team to win three? Or will Marston win its second straight crown?
