update... tweaked the main roster page,

- changed the player rank highlighting from Top 100 to Top 10% of the league in TP to better accommodate leagues with a smaller player base (< 500 skaters).
- expanded the team record stats to include WIN%, GF, GF/GP, GA, GA/GP.
- players who have appeared in all team games to date are now highlighted (includes goaltenders whose Total Games Dressed, TGD, matches the team's GP as well).
- gap in TP between the team leader and the #2 player displayed if gap is greater than 14 TP (a nod to the Hart trophy definition of most valuable player to their team, with points being a contributing factor for skaters)
- increased the height of the stat category title rows, and locked in the stat columns, so they no longer expand or contract in width.

I removed the link for now as I wish to test the current version (0.53b) of the converter with FHM 11 when it is released to make sure it fully compatible with it (the converter was designed with FHM 10 in mind, but I have tested it as far back as FHM 7 with success).

Could you send me a link or repost it or something please? I have FHM10 and would really love to use this utility...

Oh okay, that's fine. I'm personally still using FHM10 because I don't have that much money laying around to buy FHM11, so I'll not rush you since you're working on 11. (:

Did some preliminary testing, and everything seems to be working with the converter except the goalie stats (see image below). Looks like some changes in the CSVs for goaltenders in FHM 11. I will dig into it a little deeper later tonight, but I see that Games Started is a new stat that was to the added to the CSV exports which is really cool as I was planning on adding this to the next version (0.6b) of the converter

Hi,

Hope it works fine with FHM11

Are you going to keep your tool working for other version 7 to 11 ?

Thanx again and do you progress to your bug update (0.60) ???

The current version, 0.53b is only working up to FHM 10. The next version, 0.6b, will be fully compatible with FHM 11 (no ETA for it just yet)

The purpose of the converter is to read various exported CSVs from FHM and convert this data into HTML files (box scores, schedule/results, standings, rosters, and various leaderboards for skaters and goaltenders).
It has the option to create a basic website for on-line leagues with these HTML files, or to simply integrate the HTML files into an already existing website.
The HTML files can also be used for local archival and study/tactical purposes (via your web browser) outside of FHM during and after your season is complete (optionally you could take these generated HTML files and convert them into PDFs or bitmaps as another way to archive your league history).

With 0.54b I'm getting "found player(s) with ID -1, the converter will now exit". Not a huge deal as I'm still on FHM10 so will just use the previous version. But not sure if that's an FHM10 issue only or not.

EDIT: Never mind doesn't look like previous versions are working for displaying the batch stats either. It works find for season long stats but just not the 30 day batch. That's strange. It's an online league that's in the year 2038.

The HTML after export says " [ Export period ]: Missing export data for skaters and goalies." for the batch HTML.

I am not sure why a player's ID would be assigned -1, but I noticed when testing, it caused some issues with the cumulative goals/assists totals in some of the box scores and a few other things as well. I will try to find a work around for this scenario (if a player with ID -1 is in the player_master.csv file, but not in the league you are converting, there should be no issues).

This message only comes up if the converter doesn't see the following (2) files in your defined HTML directory before you run it,

####_Leaderboards_Points_prevExport.csv (for skaters)
####_Leaderboards_GAA_prevExport.csv
(for goalies)

there are actually (4) files (see attached image), but the ones with the dates attached are simply backups.

If you run the converter for the first time on your current season these files will not be present until the converter creates the first instance of them. So you would have to re-run the converter a second time 30 days later so it can reference these (2) files it created on the first conversion in order to create the export stats. As well, each time you run the converter, you also need to do a fresh CSV export before hand as well (or else all export stats will appear as 0).

So for example, on a new season you can run the converter on the day after the season opener, then again 30 days later and the [ Export period ] stats will be present. (and then 30 days after again and so on).

You can even start the batch process midway through a season as well... it just needs a starting point from which to compare or else that, "[ Export period ]: Missing export data for skaters and goalies." message will appear without any [ Export period ] stats (just the season long stats only). You can also mix and match the export ranges (so you can do a 30-day, followed by a 7-day etc.)

As well (and I have done this myself), when deleting any HTML files in your HTML directory, be sure that you don't delete these (2) CSV files, as they need to be there at all times for the [ Export period ] stats process to continually work. The converter will simply replace them with updated versions automatically upon each conversion to get ready for the next conversion (you would delete them only when starting a brand new season or going into another phase of the current season like the playoffs).

I uploaded version 0.55b which will bypass this message if players with ID -1 are not found in the current league you are converting (version 0.54b was simply trapping all these occurrences and then exiting even if the league you are converting didn't have any).

I started a thread asking the Developers about what the playerID -1 is for (I am leaning towards retired players).

update... added a scoring potential meter to the 3-Star stats player pop-up, based on their 3-Stars TP/GP stat (requires a minimum of three 3-Star selections to have this meter appear). Also added non-3-Star stats to see how well a player is performing when not selected as a Star of the game, as well as 3-Star stats diff which is simply the differential between a player's 3-Star and non-3-Star TP/GP stats.
