I don't like the way the player model distorts the letter on the jersey.

I use the Baseball Hall of Fame uniforms as source. The images are not of the best quality and don't necessarily give the best color palette.

The 3D model is adequate for now, but definitely needs some improvements. The 2d profile pics and baseball card pics are the best quality pictures we can get with the new templates. Wish we could see more of the jerseys on those

Thanks for the custom layer, but I have to confess that I really don't understand how to use them. When I try adding a custom layer in the uniform maker I end up with something along the lines of the below image. Am I doing something incorrectly? I would gladly build my own custom layer if someone pointed me as to how to do it.

I just tried that. Not sure why it works that way in the program

If you upload as an image, it works though

I'm a moron. I didn't even consider that. I saw the word 'layer' and just tried using the custom layer tool.

admittedly, I use Eriq's awesome program to lay down the base uniform and the pants for my historical uniforms. I then use photoshop to add any custom layers, so I don't have much experience using the custom layer upload.

As I said, if you go down to the image section and upload the file there, it seems to put it in the right place

I updated my image above with your piping. I think that's probably as could as it's going to get at the moment. I've thought about using an image editing program when the tool doesn't do exactly what I want, but then I remembered that I'm much too lazy for that.

That's a really cool site. I like making uniforms, but I'm only ambitious enough to do it when the existing one doesn't quite work in the new format. Otherwise, I just use the ones you've already created.

well, No pepper and I just about finished all of them But it is fun and rewarding doing them yourself

You've finished the historical uniforms for the new game? Is there a link? I'd rather be playing then making my players look good!

I did from 1930-2021 I uploaded by decade on the thread a few posts down for this

No pepper should be uploading 1901-1929 in the near future

I've updated my set.

You can just delete the Dodgers 1980-1998 files and re-name 1977-1979 to 1977-1998

The Angels switched to button down jerseys in 1989. I'm sure it's too much of a pain to redo them and not sure anyone else cares, but thought I'd mention it.
