Juan Miguel Soriano - Primarily Position should be LF. Lower 1B ratings, hasn’t played at that position more than 20 innings since 2012.
Adir Ferran - Primarily position should be 1B. Moved to full time first baseman in 2016.

Matanzas
Yandrys Canto - Moved back to Villa Clara
Yasiel Santoya - Remove CF Ratings, primarily position 1B, some LF
Jefferson Delgado - Remove 1B ratings, primarily a 3B
Ariel Sanchez - Would suggest to remove CF defensive ratings, will only play LF to let Victor Victor Mesa cover CF

Raul Isidoria Gonzalez - Increase 2B ratings, reduce 3B

Allen Craig of the Red Sox needs his contract slightly tweaked. He has a team option for 2018, which is correct in the game, but he has a $1,000,000 buyout for that option. In game it's listed as $0.

I only know this because the day he is bought out will be a wonderful day for us Sox fans.

We can't actually set buyouts, the game does that automatically.

As far as I know the roster makers have no control over that. What an individual team does once the season starts is up to that team.

You could go in to commish mode and add them to their 40-man rosters, though. But then it's still in control of the team as to what happens after.

It's also possible that none of these guys were on the 40 man roster or DFAed when the roster was added to the patch. I am sure there will be another patch soon and it should include the opening day rosters. Remember, this patch came out on April 1st, the season did not start until the 2nd/3rd, so the rosters were updated as of March 29th or 30th.

That being said, you can always go into Commish mode and make any moves yourself.

I'm well aware of that, but many of these 40-man moves were made a long time ago, before the Rule V draft. I suspect this is the case with several other teams as well, but I'd have to go through and check them.

I checked the roster database and every one of the guys you mentioned are on the 40 man roster, so either they were updated after the patch was released or the AI made those moves. Wait until the next patch and see if the rosters are correct, but if you want those moves in your game, then go in and make those changes and you will be good.

Those guys have been correct in our database for months. The problem is the game does what it wants. I'm really not sure why we even have the 40-man roster spot in our editor. Maybe one day this will get adjusted in the game.

The game has Jung Ho Gang as suspended for 30 days to account for his visa issues. However this causes the pirates to play with a 24 man roster for the first month. Can that be switched to an injury instead or put him in the minors to starts?
