Couldn't you just make a video of 3D using a fictional league?

My guess is that with the game being MLB and MLBPA licensed that anything put out has to be cleared even if it is to verify that all that is shown is fictional.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

So If I create a custom league and want to import "Historical teams" will I also have the ability to import their minors with them? From the way that's written my guess is no since the league would not be created with the Historical option, which makes me sad if it is the case

- Added leverage index to pitching stats, and splits by leverage for players
- Added leverage options to bullpen roles

I just re-read this and I just realized how great that was...that's a huge addition and something I had failed to notice the first time.

In terms of leverage splits and evaluation of "leverage" situations what stats are being used? Are they similar to the ones used on Fangraphs or are they from another site?

Just thought I'd relate my experience with the OOTP17 beta. (Hopefully, Markus won't mind.)

SPEED. I have an i7-4770 processor (about two years old). I don't know how long it took me last year to sim 1901-2014, but I'd usually run the sim overnight. Last night, I ran a 1901-2015 sim (with pics, facegen, and baseball cards disabled). It took just 82 minutes to complete. That's phenomenal!

ACCURACY: I checked the historical accuracy report. It has never been more accurate. Just 2.2% of the results were in the red (and only 1.6% since 1925 -- that is, post-Dead Ball Era). Take out the red results from the SB categories (which, while still excellent, are the hardest to get precise) and the percentage drops to less than 1% since 1925. Again, I've NEVER seen better results in OOTP.

Major kudos to Markus and Matt (not to mention Spritze, for all of his contributions) for making OOTP historicals second to none!

Wait, it took you 82 minutes to sim 113 years?

lol! I'm not sure whether to applaud the blazing sim speeds over multi-decades of seasons, or scratch my head wondering why I never have simmed more than a month at any one time (even in off-seasons).

It all sounds good... but I've barely played the last 3 or 4 releases and will wait this one out.

I never sim more than a week at a time.

I wonder how many cores it can use. Eight? (we can only hope)
