NL - Beaneaters look untouchable, winning 82 so far and 15 games out in front.

NA - League 1 is still a serious race, the Red Rocks and Mansfields are tied at the top with Olympics 1 game back. League 2 is close, the Marylands are in the lead but the Eckfords are 2 back, the Blue Legs and Centenniels are 4 back with New Haven and Elizbeth 6 back. Lots of time and six teams in the running.

AA - Louisville and St. Louis are tied at the top. The Nationals are five and a half out. This will be a close race as well.

UA - The Eastern League is starting to be a runaway for the Generals, they have a six and a half game lead on the Monumentals and are starting to pull away. In the Western league, The Maroons are four and a half ahead of the Brewers, everyone else is pretty much out of it.

NL - The season is over, teh Boston Beaneaters win the title by 16 games over the Cleveland Blues. Detroit is still the worst team, finishing in last again. More details shortly on the end of year stuff for the NL.

NA - League one is a close one but almost over. The Mansfields are 5 games ahead of the Olympics and have a magic number of 4. In League 2, the Marylands are in first, five games ahead of the Blue Legs. The Magic number for the Marylands is 4 also.

AA - The race is almost over, the Eclipse have a 4 game lead but there are only 7 games left and Browns could catch up, but they have no room to lose.

UA - The Eastern League is down to the Generals and the Monumentals, trailing by 3. With just 21 days left, this league is gonna be a close one. In the Western League, The Maroons are 6 on top of the Brewers and it could be close too. The battle for the first ever UA Championship could be interesting.

The 1884 year is over and the league will change a little bit. The Brooklyn Atlantics will change their name to the Brooklyn Grays and the Louisville Eclipse will become the Louisville Colonels.

There is a move that will make a bit of work for me. The St Louis Maroons, in the UA but when they move, the UA will have 6 teams in one league and 5 in the other. To keep it straigth and even, one team will leave the AA. In real life, the AA only had 8 teams in 1885. Because of this, one of the teams that does not belong this season will move to the UA to keep the leagues even. The team moving is the Richmond Virginians. There will be other team moves in the near future, but that should take care of it all this season.

NA - Coast League is still pretty close, the Olympics out in front, 1 game ahead of the Forest Citys, 2 ahead of Middletown and 5 ahead of Rockford and the Canaries. In the Interior League, The Red Stockings have put a little room between themselves and the Blue Legs, up by 6. Could be poised for a big run.

AA - The Browns have moved to a 5 game lead over the Reds, could be time they ended the chase, but the Reds may not be ready for that to happen just yet.

UA - The EL is led by the Generals and they are almost ready to lock it up, having a 5 and a half game lead over the Keystones. In the WL, the White Caps are a half game ahead of the Outlaw Reds and 3 and a half ahead of the Lakers. Could be a great race down the stretch.

NA - The Final 37 days are gonna prove interesting in the NA. The CL is pretty wide open so far. The Mansfields are up 2 games on the Olympics and 5 ahead of both the Forest Citys and Canaries. Rockford is 6 back. In the IL, The Red Stockings have a bit of breathing room, they enjoy a 7 game lead over the Blue Legs.

AA - 29 games to go and the Browns are up 4 over Louisville and 5 over the Brooklyn Grays. This is gonna be a close race too.

UA - With just under 2 months to go, the EL is starting to appear to belong to the Generals again. They are up 5 and a half over the Keystones, but it isnt over yet. In the WL, St Paul has a slight 2 and a half game lead over the Outlaw Reds. If it stays this way, the Generals will have a new opponent in the Championship series.
