Okay, when I do this the HOF tab goes completely away so users can no longer see the results. Is there a way to leave the HOF page open but only close out the voting on the current ballot? If not, do you think it might be possible to add this at some point in time. It would be nice to see past voting results even when owners are not currently voting on the hall of fame.

You appear to be running the StatsLab13 version of the player page. Did you overwrite all files when you upgraded?

Can you shoot me a PM with commish access to your StatsLab install? I can troubleshoot further that way.

The only statslab problem I am having is that I don't have team logos with the _20.png ending. The game has generated logos in every size except for this one. Weird.
Just to clarify, during the draft the statslab draft board is looking for the _20.png files...I have 25, 60, 120...just about every size that the game generates except 20 Last edited by WillieMaysHayes; 08-18-2013 at 03:08 PM. |

So I'm assuming since the DB now lets us choose the type of ratings shown we can use Real Ratings or OSA Ratings now?
In OOTP14.

Just one more problem - I have a draft with no timer between about 10PM and 7AM. 3 Hour pick timer. I had my schedule set and everything was correct but when someone makes a pick at 11PM, the next pick is due at 2AM instead of 10AM. It's like that pick resets the whole schedule of the draft.

Where are the settings for sending emails? We're doing our draft right now and no one is seeing any emails sent. I'm not even sure where those settings are. Can anyone enlighten me?

In the managers profiles, they have to have their emails populated. As the commish of my league, I went into each one of their profiles (in the admin, you can select "Act As...") and I just populated the emails for the GM's myself.

One more question - in the newest update, the draft logos are a png size 30 or something (on the draft board). How can I generate those logos? I can't find that size in any photopacks either.

This isn't necessarily a StatsLab question in particular, but does anyone know when the players_league_leader SQL export starts being updated during a season? My online league has already played a week of games and the SQL export for that file has no data. I've written my league's homepage code to pull from it, so just curious.
Thanks. |

Above question answered. I rewrote the php to compile the leaders from the players_game_batting and players_game_pitching_stats tables.

Do drafts in StatsLab account for fixed budgets in an inaugural draft?

I have sucesfully installed StatsLab14 on my godaddy account but have some troubles when it comes to loading files. If I just tell SL to do a full SQL file load it gets a connection dropped by the server error. If I go to the SQL files tab and try to load more than one file using the checkboxes I get dropped by godaddy as well (even with tiny files).
I am able to load all of my SQL files as long as I split the files to under 2.5MB and load them individually by clicking on the load link next to the file name. While this works, at least one of my files needs to be split into 30+ smaller files which takes way too much time. In an effort to get around this I've installed a virtual linux box with apache any mysqlserver on it. I'm able to run SL locally with no problems so my plan for each sim (three times a week) is to... 1. Create a backup of my DB on godaddy using myphpadmin 2. Download the DB backup. 3. Load the backup (it's a SQL dump) into the DB on my virtual machine at home. 4. Udpate the DB using my local SL installation. 5. Run a SQL dump on the virutal machine database. 6. Upload the dump to the directory where godaddy stores my DB archives. 7. Use the database restore tool on godaddy to restore the dump file I created. Sadly, I feel this will end up being a much faster process than splitting the files and loading them individually, but obviously it's not ideal ![]() So my questions for anyone that's using godaddy to host their SL install are: 1. Have you had troubles loading more than one file at a time from the Admin/SQL Files tab? If so, how did you get around it? 2. Have you had troubles being limited by godaddy either by a timeout for how long it takes to load a dump file or by the size of your SQL files? If so, how did you get around it? 3. If anyone has a better plan that what I've outlined as my workaround, I'd love to hear it. I tried increases the max size and post size in my php5.ini file but that didn't seem to help any. My hope is that there's some sort of server setting that I can tweak that will just allow SL14 to work as designed where I can just click on the load files button. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
